What is your cancellation and refund policy?

For a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your experience. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will receive credits for future bookings. For corporate or large group bookings, a full refund requires 7 days' notice. To cancel, use our contact form, select 'Cancellation,' and provide your booking details.

What time should I arrive for my booking?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your reservation. This allows ample time for check-in and for you to enjoy a beverage in our lounge before your experience begins.

Are the experiences private or shared with other groups?

All our experiences are private. Whether you choose an escape room, axe throwing, or darts, it will only be your group participating in that specific experience.

Are there age restrictions for participation?

There are no age limits for escape rooms, but participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For axe throwing, participants must be at least 14 years old, and those 13-15 need an adult (18+) chaperone.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards for your convenience.

What should I wear for axe throwing?

For your safety and comfort, we ask that you wear closed-toed shoes with a maximum 1-inch heel when participating in axe throwing.

What is the minimum age for axe throwing?

The minimum age to participate in axe throwing is 16 years old. However, participants aged 13-15 can throw axes if they are accompanied by an adult who is 18 years or older.

Do I need to book in advance?

Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially on weekends, as availability for specific rooms and times is not guaranteed for walk-ins.

Each player pays $37.17 plus tax for their escape room experience.

What is your cancellation policy regarding weather?

Escape Games Canada operates in all weather conditions as it is an indoor facility. A rain check may be offered in cases of severe weather causing major road closures, government-issued states of emergency, or service outages preventing your booking.

Are there age restrictions for participants?

Participants under 13 can play if accompanied by an adult. Those aged 13-17 can play without adult supervision but require a liability waiver signed by someone over 18. Toddlers and infants in strollers cannot participate.

What is the recommended group size for playing?

Rooms are designed for groups of 4 or more players, with 6 to 8 players recommended for ideal gameplay. Playing with fewer than the minimum requires purchasing the minimum number of tickets.

Can I play an escape room alone?

No, for safety reasons and the nature of the puzzles, you cannot play a room by yourself. It would be nearly impossible to solve some puzzles without a team.

What if I need to cancel or change my reservation?

Please notify us at least 24 hours before your reservation if you need to cancel. Cancellation fees may apply for late cancellations if the space cannot be filled. No-shows will be charged the minimum number of tickets.

Is it safe to play with certain health conditions?

It depends on the condition. If you have a pacemaker, severe heart condition, epilepsy, claustrophobia, are pregnant, or have a physical disability affecting standing, crawling, or climbing, please inform staff before participating to ensure a safe and accommodating game.

How do I book for my group?

You can make your best guess when booking, as we can always adjust the number of players upon arrival. Payment is processed onsite, and your credit card is only held to secure the booking.

Is a deposit required when booking?

No deposit or upfront payment is taken. We only charge you upon arrival and can adjust the player count then. A credit card is required to hold the booking, and a fee will be charged for cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows.

How long does the experience last?

Please budget about an hour and twenty minutes for your visit. We ask you to arrive ten minutes early, and we take a photo afterward.

What is your cancellation policy?

A $50 cancellation fee applies for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to your booked game. The same fee applies to changes in game time within that period. No-shows or extremely late teams will also incur this penalty fee.

Can I walk in, or should I book in advance?

It's best to book ahead, especially for weekends and holidays. For quiet days, please call ahead to ensure we can accommodate you, as we might not be fully staffed or preparing props.

Is parking available?

Metered street parking is available on Danforth Avenue, and there's street parking on nearby side streets. Please do not park in the lot across the street, as cars there have been ticketed.

What are the age recommendations for the games?

While all ages are welcome, we recommend ages 8 and up to fully participate in the puzzle-solving. Younger children are welcome as spectators and still have a great time!

Is adult supervision required for children?

For children aged 11 and under, a paid adult must be in the room to supervise and assist with puzzles. Your Adventure Guide will also be there to help.

How can I book a VR arcade session?

You can easily book a VR arcade session through our website. Simply select the number of participants, desired date and time, and complete your contact and payment details. Full payment is required for reservations, and prices are in Canadian (CAD) dollars, excluding HST.

Can I book a private event or party at your VR arcade?

Yes, we offer private event and party bookings. For events more than 3 days away, you can book directly on our website. For events within 3 days, please email info@levelupreality.ca.

We prioritize hygiene by regularly cleaning and sanitizing headsets, controllers, and other accessories between each use. Disposable face masks and antibacterial wipes are also available, and we encourage handwashing before and after using the equipment.

Premium Games (80-minute) offer the ultimate adventure with access to all rooms, challenges, props, and costumes. Basic Games (60-minute) provide approximately 75% of the full experience at a more affordable price, with some elements and costumes omitted.

Is a deposit required to book?

Yes, a $100 CAD deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit will be fully refunded through your original payment method after your game session.

Can I bring my cell phone into the game?

You may bring your cell phone, but photography is strictly prohibited during the game. For your convenience, we offer secure, complimentary phone lockers with built-in charging capabilities at the front desk.

Are children allowed to play?

Our games are designed for players aged 16 and older. Children may participate under adult supervision, but we do not recommend escape rooms for children under 12 due to the complexity of the puzzles.
