I’m writing to express a serious concern about how I was treated during the recent game, specifically relating to inconsistent enforcement of rules and what appeared to be racially biased behavior. After a grenade was thrown at me by the opposing team, I briefly lifted my helmet to catch my breath (after the game only) I understand the importance of helmet safety and take full responsibility for my actions. However, I was not allowed to continue the game because of this. At the same time, two white players from the other team fully removed their helmets, yet they were only given warnings and were allowed to continue playing. This inconsistent treatment was frustrating and felt clearly unfair. What made the situation worse was the behavior of a staff member at the shop (or gear area) who also treated me differently and showed clear signs of racial bias. While I was being questioned or restricted, the same strict attitude was not shown toward the white players. The way I was spoken to and handled made me feel singled out because of my race. I am not trying to avoid accountability—I simply want to ensure that all players are treated equally, and that racial bias is not tolerated in any part of the game, whether on the field or off it. I respectfully ask that this incident be looked into, and that steps are taken to prevent similar situations in the future. Fairness and equal treatment are essential for everyone involved.
