Shot a Glock, S&W 45, AR-15, Barrett .50 (just insane!), and the quirky Beretta Cx4—super fun and balanced. RSOs friendly and really helpful, rentals easy, not crowded. Perfect shooting stop for experienced visitors—and tourists!

I been to many ranges, but Lone Star offers freedom. They have many different Bays at the range. The people running the show are great. You can come and go with no problems. I have met many of kind shooters here. Also you are down the street from the BBQ capital of TX
In June '25 I traveled from The Netherlands to Texas for my first shooting experience, I absolutely loved my first time at Lone Star Gun Range! There are multiple outside gun lanes available. The staff is very professional, friendly and welcoming. Everything is explained very clearly to me as a first timer, which left me feeling very safe and secure here. Whenever I had a question I could just drop by and the staff was available to help me out right away. The shooting experience was great! I tried out shooting a Glock and an AR-15. Overall super positive experience. Best wishes from The Netherlands, and look forward to a future visit!
My bf & I came here to shoot some guns & we had a great time! The range is outdoors & they catered to all experience levels! I was personally nervous & Luke took great care in walking us through the machines & making sure we were comfortable. It was a very chill place with a lot of options & a lot of cute puppies!
