Booking & Cancellation
To cancel or transfer a class, you must email training@therangeaustin.com from your registration email. For requests made more than 72 hours before the class, a $35 fee applies. Note that the initial registration fee includes a 50% non-refundable deposit. No refunds or reschedules are provided for cancellations within 72 hours of the class start, resulting in the forfeiture of the full class fee. Students dismissed due to safety violations will not receive a refund or reschedule.

I tried shooting an AR-15 for the first time and it was a great experience. Sam, my instructor, was calm, attentive, and professional — he took the time to explain safety rules, proper stance, and timing, so I felt secure and confident the whole session. The range was well organized and the staff prioritized safety without losing the fun. Highly recommend this range and especially Sam if it’s your first time — I learned a lot and left feeling proud and more confident.
As visitors from the UK, shooting in Texas is a “Must do” - Visited The Range twice with my 16 year old daughter. Found the staff exceptional. Very helpful without being condescending to less experienced marksmen. The lanes are in great condition, with plenty of choice of targets. It also has a large retail space where you can view both new and vintage guns. We both loved our visits, a highlight of our trip! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A++
Frequent shooter here. Came from out of town and this place took care of us. Great selection of firearms and affordable prices. Love the energy from everyone there. Will most definitely pay them another visit when I find myself back in Austin
