I took my team here for a work celebration and it was SO fun! We all had a great time and the instructor Lewis was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and it was a really nice establishment. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time and any business that would like to offer team building opportunities.
Went here , first timers on a Friday night around 7pm, place was quaint and “woodsy” with a small bar with a large drink and food selection. The place was only occupied by 4 other ax throwers and 2 men at the bar. Our only issue was - we unfortunately went from 6 to four people. Unfortunately life happens and the 2 others had a Christmas Eve death in their family. My father explained this after hearing the balance due but was met with STRICT verbal re-enforcement of the POLICY by the bartender and later the manager. (Yes, he probably should have collected the other two people’s money before booking). They both stated that “he” signed off on this and that it’s stated on the website. First off it’s NOT easy to locate on the website as when you are going through the booking process it did not does not say anywhere at all that all Sales are final.(went through selecting a time and adding to cart) I was only able to locate this by going through their FAQ section and eventually I found it and it said in yellow letters that all sales are final. Note again that this is not on the order page. I’m also not expecting my 72-year-old father to do a thorough search and investigation of the policies and procedures for a company. In the end, the manager did comp one person and someone who intended on showing up as only a spectator became a participant. The bartender later also apologized and he was very gracious and friendly. In the end this worked out but I had to give the 4 stars because of the unclear policy and the way it was communicated. Would we be back? YES and I have no doubt they would earn ( stars -if I rated it all separately bartender 5 stars. Food and drinks 5 starts. The “Axpert” 5 stars but all this still does not negate their policy and explanation of it. Read everything and get $ ahead of booking.
