Batley & District Gun Club offers an authentic clay pigeon shooting experience in a scenic woodland setting. Welcoming both seasoned members and non-members, the club provides 50-bird sporting shoots every other Sunday. They emphasize safety with coaching available for all skill levels, including juniors aged 10 and up. It’s a great spot to enjoy the sport, improve your skills, and experience a unique outdoor activity.

Complete nuisance to surrounding residents every other Sunday, and I dare say to those wanting to walk through the woods. Today on boxing day, still shooting after 2.30pm. Cannot find out when it is supposed to finish, there must be a cut off time on their licence. AI says it should be 12.30pm. Perhaps someone at the club could enlighten me?

Great friendly club that's been running since 1961, (63) years. Not only do they run a good safe club, they also help manage parts of the wood to try and keep it safe for the local community that use it, despite this not being their responsibility.

A non-refundable deposit of £20 is required to secure all coaching session bookings. This deposit is paid upfront via the online payment system and is not returned if the session is cancelled or not attended.

A great, welcoming clay shooting club that runs on alternate weekends. Interesting setting as everything is within the woodland, which is unusual and challenging. Went for first time this Sunday 21st July and there was a great sense of camaraderie from everyone we met. Very highly recommended and looking forward to returning in two weeks time.

A bloody nuisance to surrounding residents in the area every other Sunday. Like WW3 for 2 to 3 hrs. Can't they go and play elsewhere.
