I visited Phoenix Shooting Range and Gun Club yesterday with a group of friends for a stag do, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome.
Our instructor for the 'Try Shoot' session was excellent. Her instructions were crystal clear, her focus on safety was reassuring, and her friendly manner put everyone at ease, even those who were a bit nervous. She was a credit to the club and made the whole experience fun and engaging.
The facilities themselves are absolutely amazing – clean, modern, and very professional. The range is impressive, and everything is clearly maintained to a very high standard. For a first-time shooter, it was the perfect environment to learn in. The atmosphere was brilliant and not intimidating at all.
If you're even slightly curious about shooting or looking for a memorable group activity, look no further. This was a 10/10 experience, and I'm already thinking about when I can go back. They also offer membership at to be honest a really good price so a couple of us will ve joining 😀

Absolutely brilliant! 10/10 would recommend. We attended on Sunday 15/09/24 and enjoyed the "Try Shooting" experience, which allowed us as a mix of beginners and first-timers to handle real firearms under the supervision of highly trained, skilled and friendly staff. The security and safety of the site are to a very high standard, the instruction both ofln the safety aspect and on the firearm handling were to an extremely high level and left everyone feeling comfortable and excited for our range time. The range is well-equipped with modern facilities, including automatic running targets and a unique air flow system. The waiting area is a comfortable clubhouse, and the venue offers family events and corporate days out. The membership options seem like great value, including family options, which we are now seriously considering. The prices for members include: £5 lane hire for 1 hour. £10 Gun hire for a wide range of club guns. Ammo at what seemed reasonable prices. The club also has a shop that sells a range of equipment which seemed well stocked with a wide range of items. As two couples looking for a fun activity, we couldn't be happier or sing more praise at the club and the staff who took care of us. We look forward to returning in the near future. Trust me, you'll have a great time. Try it out!
I had a fantastic experience with a great hands on briefing session which taught me so much in 10 minutes. I love that we were supervised the whole time by experienced staff who were extremely patient and attentive. I would highly recommend this experience that not so many get too.
