My wife’s family lived here back in the 1700-1800’s and were weavers. The historical society has done a great job preserving what life was like. Wonderful historical site that is free to enter. Knowledgeable volunteers there to show you all around. Thank you for helping us get a feel for life during a very difficult and trying time. Actual looms shows the process of making tartan cloth! Make sure you stay for some tea and scones after your tour!
A must-see museum in Paisley. Great guided tour and very nice shop and tearoom!
A beautiful experience visiting the cottages! The volunteers were so helpful and knowledgeable! There was so much kindness in the air and the small details were so beautiful! I would definitely recommend!
