We had done the fairytale room and it was pretty cool. Definitely good puzzles and was overall an awesome environment. But want to really give a shout out to the Game Master that was with us there. He was actually pretty funny and definitely made my group comfortable, even in the room. So yeah, it’s a cool place, so give it a try. Also, it’s convenient place to get food afterwards, since it’s there at Fish Lane😁👍
My partner and I had the pleasure of completing The Fairytales escape room today. The game master looked after us from the get-go. Give this man a pay raise! He absolutely MADE the experience for us. He was very helpful and not to mention hilarious as well. The room itself was very well thought out. The storyline was consistent with the theme of the room and we were very impressed by the use of mechanics to enhance the experience. It was awesome how we could ask for unlimited hints as we struggled with certain clues. Our game master was very patient when assisting us. We also loved how the game master explained the room to us at the end, giving us extra details about how everything works and more insight into the storyline’s connection to the room. I would 100% recommend this room to anyone looking for an exciting and interactive experience.

As frequent escapers, we are always looking for escape rooms that have innovative design, smooth and well constructed puzzles with a bit of techolnology and great customer service. We were presently impressed with the Fairytale room and would recommend this room to those who are newish to escape rooms. Our Game Master was fantastic and funny!
Staff were friendly. We did the Izakaya room which was not very difficult at all but it was technological, which was very cool. One observation was that we could hear the music being played at reception which was a distraction. A photo at the end would be nice too with some props from the room.
We had a FANTASTIC time at the Izakaya room - the puzzles were very interesting and the quality of the room was top notch. You can tell a lot of love and thought went into it. Our host was very engaging and informative, providing hints when we needed them without revealing too much. I highly recommend Mystic Escapes, I wish we had time for another room but just visited Brisbane briefly.
