You can make general bookings online or inquire about parties and events by calling us. Walk-ins are also welcome!

How far in advance should I book my event?

You can book events online up to 3 days in advance. We recommend booking ahead to secure your spot, especially for groups.

What activities are available at Kingpin Chermside?

Kingpin Chermside offers Ten-Pin Bowling, Playtime Arcade Games, Darts, Karaoke, Pool Tables, Laser Tag, and Virtual Reality Games.

What is the minimum age for Escape Rooms?

For safety reasons, the minimum age to participate in our Cryptology Escape Rooms is 14 years old.

What is your policy if I need to cancel my event?

If you cancel an event more than four days prior, your deposit will be fully refunded. Cancellations within zero to four days will forfeit the deposit, but we can apply it to a future social booking.

What types of payment are accepted?

Payment can be made on the day of your event, or you can pay in full ahead of time via credit card over the phone. Online bookings accept major credit cards, PayPal, or gift cards.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No outside food or beverages are permitted, except for birthday cakes or in cases of confirmed food allergies communicated in advance. We offer extensive dining options on-site.

Booking & Cancellation

For online general bookings, refunds are generally not provided unless required by Australian Consumer Law, but reservation times can be changed with at least 24 hours' notice. For parties and events, a full deposit refund is available if cancellation notice is given more than four business days prior to the event. If cancelled within zero to four business days, the deposit is forfeited, though it may be applied to a future social booking at the manager's discretion. No refunds are honored within 4 working days of a party.

My daugther recently had a birthday party at kingpin! Their packages are worth it and enjoyable for the kids. The party event manager Sam was amazing, he walked me through all the programs and finalized everything before the party which helped for a smooth event. Mind you they had 22 parties on that one day. I was able to come in earlier to setup the table as I wanted. Kids had a great time. With the most amazing party host, Karzha. The kids told me they loved her cause she was so kind and looked after all of them. Thank you for doing an amazing job as party host. You're a Gem! Food was ample for the kids and the parents. Timing and program proper was made intently and smooth. Thank you Kingpin, you have some of the most amazing workers and I hope they get compensated for their hard work!

We’ve used the party packages a few times over the years and it’s still so well organised and managed by all involved. For our son’s 10yo party, the boys were looked after so diligently, patiently & respectfully by the party host Eva, well done Eva, great job and you wouldn’t take a tip?? Celebrated my son's 10th Birthday. We couldn't have enjoyed it if wasn't for our friendly party host CHARLOTTE! Answered all my questions, was super patient and all ten boys listened and followed her rules. All was very organised, fun atmosphere and worth what we paid for. I highly recommend celebrating birthdays at Kingpin Chermside, there is no need to follow the kids everywhere, sit back have a drink a bite to eat and it's all taken care of. 5tar!
