Helpful and friendly staff. We were 10 people divided into two groups of 5 competing with each other and everyone else. Its not like escape room. The aim is to solve a puzzle in each room to gain the maximum points which keep getting added. There's no limit on how many times you attempt but each attempt has a timer which gets the stress levels higher 😀. A lot of fun. The activity is certainly 5 star however the company that owns this is Fever based in Spain. They dont provide a tax invoice when booking your experience however you have to keep chasing it to get it. Its been 10 to 12 days since my chasing them for a tax invoice and I still dont have it. Therefore while the activity was 5 star, staff were 5 star unfortunately the company has let them down. Certainly won't ever use Fever experience or activity again if I need a tax invoice for it.
I note that there have been a multitude of negativity surrounding this place (refer to the 1star reviews and 2 for this place), however I must say this is a fun, unique experience that all 14 people that I came with really enjoyed. As people who have done escape rooms previously, this was a fresh new idea that really allowed for good head to head competition between teams. We were divided into 3 groups of 4 and 1 group of 5, and then set about to conquer to rooms. Some of the rooms definitely required some thinking, and there was a good variety between the thinking , skill and physical activity rooms that we really enjoyed. Yes there is minimal or no story leading up to each room, but all felt different in their own way and there was always a room that we could go into and do, and never did we feel we had no more to do. Even speaking to the other groups later, there were rooms we didn’t get to do, but this just made us curious what room they didn’t and was a great topic of conversation. Overall, I do agree that probably with 2 people or if you don’t do a “head to head” which other groups within your party the competitive factor is not there as much. There is a leaderboard but the best thing is beating ur other mates in the other team after your time ends that makes it extra fun. Amazing team bonding experience and fun activity, and very well worth the money. Student discount don’t forget if u are a student! Don’t be put off by the negative reviews on this plan, is definitely one to check out but best really for groups of 3-4 people who are in high school and above. A lot of the puzzles if have young kids or those in primary school, will find them quite challenging I feel. Thanks for a fun night out Prison Island team!

We have visited twice now and both times the staff were super friendly and always down for a chat which is really lovely! You don’t feel like just another customer. The challenge rooms are creative and fun, as well as difficult! Definitely a great day out for the family or friends and will continue to come back!
Heaps of fun for challenge rooms. These ARE NOT escape rooms, don't go into it expecting that type of a game. Go with 3 or more people to make the most out of it. Don't go during prime time if you're not patient and expect the entire place to yourself. We booked in for 2pm on Sunday and we managed to play every room. The "Tilt" room was ridiculous and dizzying lol never experienced motion sickness without being in motion.
Had an awesome time at Prison Island Brisbane! With 35 different rooms, it’s a fun, fast-paced team game combining puzzles, physical challenges, and strategy. Perfect for a group of 4! Huge thanks to Hazel and especially Julius for making it even better – super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!
