What are the rules for fishing at your pools?

You must report to the clubhouse for a permit, keep dogs on a lead, do not disturb wildlife or damage vegetation, and all fish must be returned to the water unharmed. Children under 16 must be supervised, and specific bait and hook rules apply. Please check our full fishery rules for all details.

Are children allowed to participate in fishing activities?

Yes, children are allowed to fish, but those under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult and properly supervised at all times.

Can I bring my dog to the fishery?

Yes, dogs are permitted in the fishing complex. However, they must be kept on a lead at all times, and you are responsible for cleaning up after them. They must not disturb other anglers.

What are the safety rules for clay target shooting?

Always treat guns as loaded, never point a gun at anyone, and only load on the stand. Keep barrels clear and pointing downrange. Eye and ear protection are mandatory. Please refer to our Shotgun Safety Rules for comprehensive guidelines.

Do you offer food and drinks on-site?

Yes, our clubhouse cafe serves a wide range of hot and cold refreshments. Food is served from 9 am to 2 pm. We can also provide food and drinks directly to the fishing pegs.

Been coming here over the last 4 years sporadically and it's getting worse. I was here fishing for 5 hours and got more bites off refusing foreigners who wanted to buy bait off me than I did actuall fish. The pools used to be great and though catching wasn't easy you always caught something at least. There needs to be more checking on the licences and permits as when I asked someone who wanted to buy bait, they laughed and walked off.

Had an amazing time. 5 of us did 25 rounds as they couldn't fit us in for 40 rounds each. Really good service. Plenty of parking. No time wasted. Guide/instructor was really good and an absolute laugh

I had a great morning shotgun Shooting with friends. The range was well planned with safety at the forefront. Facilities were good with friendly staff and a small cafe for a cuppa and Shooting cartridges on sale. The fishing lake are beautiful with plenty of greenery surrounding the area. Plenty of parking with easy access.
