We had our son’s 12th birthday at VR Quest! Brilliant VR arcade system and host. Boys loved the party and set up. VR games and systems are really cool. Also fun for adults! I love the dinosaur VR world, kids loved rollercoaster, racing and track race!
Booked for 10yo party. Was perfect for them- lots of fun activities I thought they would have had enough after 2hours but was hard to drag them away. The favourite being the 360 which spun them upside down. The family business looked after us very well and very accommodating.
I’ve always wanted to try interactive VR games, so on Friday, my friends and I (a group of four) decided to check out this place and play their VR escape game. We originally chose Huxley, but the staff member, Adrian, recommended that we pick something simpler since it was our first time. He suggested Beyond Medusa’s Gate, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. First, the headset and controllers were very similar to the PlayStation VR2 headset & controllers—the way you wear them is the same, they feel similar in hand, and most importantly, they’re lightweight. Second, the game visuals were incredibly realistic and sharp. After selecting our characters, we could look down and see our character’s legs, and the hands were actually attached to the character’s body, making the experience much more immersive. The gameplay itself was also fantastic. The story had many interactive moments that required all four of us to work together, solve puzzles, and complete various tasks to progress the game. There were plenty of thrilling moments that got our hearts racing, along with breathtaking environments to explore. By the time we finished, we all felt like we didn’t want it to end. We were so immersed that we completely lost track of time—it truly felt like we were inside the game. The combination of mental and physical challenges made this experience even more exciting compared to regular video games. The place itself isn’t very big, and it’s divided into two areas. The front section has several VR arcade machines. We tried two roller coaster simulators—one of them even had wind effects that made the experience feel more realistic. The back area is where the VR escape games take place, and there’s no need to worry about bumping into things. First, the game has a short-range teleportation feature that allows characters to move instantly, so we didn’t have to walk around much, reducing the risk of collisions. Second, even with the headset on, there’s a small but sufficient gap under the visor that lets you see the floor, preventing accidents (unless you’re way too immersed). Every time after use, the staff disinfects the headsets and controllers with sanitizing spray, making it very safe and hygienic. Overall, it felt very similar to playing Resident Evil: Village in PS5 VR mode, but with the added fun of interacting with friends. The controls were different, but actually simpler, with fewer buttons to worry about. On top of that, Adrian, the staff member, was incredibly friendly and patient, guiding us through the game and enhancing the overall experience. VR Quest is definitely a great place to visit with friends, and we’d highly recommend it!
