The people running retail are always rude and not helpful. Wanted to buy a gun and they gave me attitude the entire process. Wanted to give them my business as they’re local but I’ll be going elsewhere. They seem to have the nice upper tier workers on the range and the noobs on retail.

Booking & Cancellation
Cancellations for range time result in a store credit. Please call 858-206-5057 to process. For classes and services, rescheduling is required at least 48 hours before the start time to receive store credit; no refunds or switches are permitted once a class has begun. Membership fees are non-refundable after payment, but annual memberships can be canceled with 30 days' notice to prevent future charges. Merchandise returns for non-defective items are at the company's discretion and result in store credit, subject to a 20% processing fee, with ammunition being non-returnable. Firearm returns incur a 5% processing fee and are not eligible for full refunds once DROS'd; defective firearms must be returned directly to the manufacturer.

I've been going to this place for over a year now. The customer service is always exemplary. Both the range desk and service desk have amazing tenants that will humor even your most ridiculous question. 10 out of 10, will always recommend!
PWG Range is hands down my favorite shooting range out of the four I regularly visit. I absolutely love this place! They have an amazing selection of firearms and so much more—tons of cool and useful gear. The staff is both professional and super friendly, which makes every visit a great experience. One of the best things about PWG is the variety of shooting distances: 25, 50, and 100 yards, so you can practice exactly the way you want. And for me, a huge plus is that they always have ammo for all my firearms—something that’s not easy to find everywhere. If you’re into shooting, this place is a must-visit. 5 stars all the way!
Good overall experience having gone 2 days back to back but just a couple of small issues. Do come a bit earlier to check in as there’s not many staff working the counters and between the check ins and those finishing up, there can be a bit of a wait. We also rented a couple of revolvers and one of them turned out to not be working properly as it was missing a part. At checkout the bill automatically includes a 10% gratuity unless you click a few buttons to opt out of it. Would still consider this range the next time I’m in San Diego, but will check other places out too.
