First time checking this place out. The roads getting there are not the best, glad I didn't drive my lowered Miata! The range itself was busy (it was Saturday), but I still didn't have a wait to get on a zero range. RSO's were friendly and informed. I will certainly be back here!!! 15 bux for all day, shoot at your pace was such a nice feel compared to other ranges in the area charging upwards of 30/hr for a 100y session.... Can't wait for my next visit!!!

We live on the NW side of town, but we heard from our neighbor that this was a great range. Facility is clean, well maintained, and several staff members that helped when needed. They have classes weekly, supplies, bathrooms available inside, and snacks too. We enjoyed our day!

This was only mine and my gilrfriend's second time to the range and, like the first time we went we had a blast! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the rates are affordable compared to some and, the range bosses are quite cool and always cordial. All in all we enjoyed ourselves shooting at both the rifle section and the handgun section. The drive from our home in far northwest San Antonio is a pleasant one and we never regret visiting the place. If you're seeking a large but non-intimidating gun range this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

Absolute beginner/newbie here, never held a gun in my life. I signed up for a private class through their website. They have a calendar where you can select the date/time you want to reserve and they send you all your paperwork ahead of time via email so the registration and check in process is easy. My instructor Carmelo was FANTASTIC. I truly cannot shower him with enough praise. From the beginning he took me through the most basic fundamentals about the components of a handgun, proper handling and gun safety, effective methods with aiming, posture and ultimately pulling the trigger, all before I handled a live firearm. The class was scheduled for an hour, but he took the extra time to make sure I was absolutely comfortable before we stepped outside on the shooting range. Once outside, I was able to use everything he had just demonstrated to me to shoot a gun (pretty much in the bullseye I might add!) for the very first time. It was definitely overwhelming/jarring (genuine question- do you EVER get used to that sound?!) and there was a moment where I felt myself getting into my own headspace and sort of shutting down due to the noise/recoil. He noticed it right away and quickly (and patiently) shifted his technique to get me re-grounded by focusing on what I had just learned, what I was doing right and correcting where I needed help. There was never a moment I felt unsafe, or disregarded even when I felt my most anxious. He helped make the experience a positive one so that I was able to truly have fun shooting, something that as a self-proclaimed “bleeding heart liberal” I never expected to enjoy so much! 😆 Thank you for an incredible experience and teaching me a newfound appreciation for my 2A right.

My husband and I went here for the first time for my birthday last weekend and we LOVED it!! From the range set up, helpfulness of the team and customer service…They made us feel welcome. I was nervous on the way there but once we settled in to fire our weapons it felt like home, like we were back in the Army down range! We plan on getting a membership!
