This range was a very well laid out shooting range. They have 50 yd, 100 yd, 200 yd rifle range. They loan you spotting scopes and sand bags.
The Pistol range is separate from the rifle range and its set up well.
They have shotgun skeet shooting ranges with all the equipment you need.
They have an archery range that is fun and good for everyone, beginners and pros.
In addition to the range, they have a pros hop and food and drink.
The owners are super nice and very accommodating.
Best of all it was only $12 a person with no strict time limits
The rifle range has large concrete shooting tables with chairs.
If your looking for a laid back range this is it.

I recently visited Bexar Community Shooting Range and found it to be a very basic facility. It had all the essential amenities you’d need, but not much beyond that. The range itself was functional and met the minimum requirements, but there weren’t any extra features or comforts that stood out.
The main downside was the interaction with one of the staff members. During check-in, the employee was condescending and made the experience uncomfortable. There was confusion about the correct target for our rifle versus pistol, and instead of helping clarify, the staff member responded rudely. This created tension and left a negative impression on the visit.
On the positive side, the exit process was simple, and another staff member was friendly and professional, which helped end the experience on a slightly better note. Overall, while Bexar Community Shooting Range met our basic needs, the poor interaction with one employee significantly impacted the overall experience.

Bexar Community Shooting Range is a solid choice if you’re looking to get some range time in. The setup is well-designed, and you’re able to shoot all calibers, which is a big plus. I really enjoyed the sense of community among the shooters—great atmosphere overall, which made for an even better day of shooting. If you’re looking for a regular spot, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a shot. It’s affordable and delivers on what you’d expect from a good range. The only downside was one staff member who seemed pretty miserable and was unnecessarily rude, which almost put a damper on things. Thankfully, we didn’t let it ruin the day, and still had a great time.
This is the best place in the San Antonio area to shoot. They rely on your common sense to manage your own range lane. No pesky range officer to watch over your every move. The people are friendly, and it is inexpensive. It's well maintained they have a shotgun range. The folks shooting there beside you are also friendly and accommodating. I look forward to my next visit.
Excellent shooting range, very good location and easy access, it was recommended to me for its good service and cordial treatment, without absurd procedures, it is cheap, they do not charge per time but per person, they have a very good assortment of ammunition and equipment. Several scenarios with different targets and distances to choose from. I highly recommend it, during the week there are few people and it is more comfortable!
