Fantastic staff and even better service. I brought my family out here for a day at the range and it was awesome. Chris, Corey, Tyler, and Dion are all more than qualified to help with any questions, guidance, or firearm needs. The whole staff treats you like family. Definitely going to tell more people about this place and keep giving them my business. Cannot recommend this range and shop enough.

I bought a Ruger SFAR from Deon and was blown away!! I called to confirm stock and was answered promptly and enthusiastically. Was only a 20 minute drive from central SA around the airport. When entering I'd noticed the attentive staff and well maintained shelves. Everything was clean and at least 3 employees greeted me and asked if I needed help. When Deon spoke with me I saw he had already set the gun aside for me and was ready to go. That speed of service is not common. They made the paperwork very convenient by having it digital. Pricing was also beyond fair. This is a great store and I look forward to trying their range!!

I had an outstanding experience at Buck and Doe’s Mercantile, thanks to Curtis! He helped me purchase a new bow not only for myself but also for my son and my wife. Curtis was incredibly knowledgeable and patient—he took the time to answer every question we had and made sure we understood our options before making a decision. His professionalism and genuine passion for archery made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Curtis truly went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back here for all of our archery needs. Highly recommend asking for Curtis if you want top-notch service!

We have been members of Buck and Does for 3 years and really have enjoyed it. We go several times every week and look forward to our time there. We have met new friends, enjoyed learning from the staff behind the gun counter and bought a few new guns, because of their expertise. We have been in their gun league, for the last couple of years. That has been great learning experience from both Corey and the RSO Dave. They have helped both of us get better by watching us shoot and how to do it better. Great learning experience because of the two of them! We look forward to every league. Whenever we were looking at guns or having things we wanted help with a gun there was always someone there that had the answer or solution. Unfortunately, over the last few of weeks, floor management has changed. The excellent crew of the past several years, is quickly being disassembled and it is loosing its friendly appeal. It is starting to feel more like a corporate run business and is loosing a friendly feeling. For a business to lose around 50% of their staff in such a short time, it seems to us that the range is changing very quickly and has our concern about renewing a future yearly membership. We wish management would understand their members a bit more and hear what the members are saying about all the changes. We are truly hoping that the new employees will have the same expertise, personality and knowledge as the employees that were there for the past several years. Time will tell. Hopefully management sees the mistakes being made and corrects the situation before many members leave for other ranges. Note: this would have been a 5 star a month ago and really hoping I don’t have to lower the star rating.
