灵魂密室Soul escape room-恐怖真人密室逃脱
Live performances take place at this escape room center, which also provides a restroom.
Wow! I went here with 4 friends and did Jane doe, and it was extremely fun and scary. We unfortunately didn’t escape but I’d 100% would come again. The only thing is, make sure your friends know Chinese because the directions and hints are all in Chinese. Even though the room we chose was Chinese and English. The clues are in English inside the room and Id say it’s one of the best escape rooms I’ve been to
Made reservation via WeChat, paid the deposit with credit card which we got back few days later when we paid with cash in person, which was suggested to avoid card processing fee. The live actor definitely added an element of scariness and creepiness to the entire experience. However, most puzzles were not intuitive, coming from a group of people who regularly get through the escape rooms and solved all puzzles, we were struggling. We basically ended up asking for every single clue for every single puzzle on the entry level escape room that we did. At times, we even asked clues multiple times for a single puzzle as the initial clues did not make much sense to us. It would be nice to get a video which they offered, but only if the entire party followed their instagram. Some people in our group were over it so we did not end up getting a video recording.

Soul escape had our group wondering what we just experienced , but in a great way! We were a group of 6 doing the restroom escape room & let me say from beginning to end we were all nervous & scared. We had no expectations on what we were going into , & it was AMAZING! It is worth the price & time, it is not like any escape room I've every experienced. The staff was great too ! Only downside I would say is setting a reservation, just cause it took me a day or two to get someone on the phone to reserve, however once someone answered the reservation process was quick & easy. Thank you to the staff of Soul Escape for an unforgettable experience!
My friends and I ended up doing the 'Return' room (one of three english friendly rooms as of this review) as our first experience, and it was definitely more than we expected. Our only regret was only bringing 6 people instead of the max of 8 people for the room. We were not expecting it to be as large as it was, and when we learned we were basically going to get chased the whole time, and mostly alone to top it all off. The only thing I didn't like was how it was basically pitch dark in the hallways, because it was a little difficult to not basically run each other over in the chase sequences, but it makes sense since the actor needs the cover of dark to move freely. Extremely terrifying and fun, 10/10 would go again. I really hope all the rooms get translated soon, as this is something I'd like to do all the rooms for. We probably made the staff laugh at some point because one of the actors was entering the room we were in, and when we were cowering in a corner the actor left the room and the staff told us we were supposed to run away from the actor in a scripted chase 😭
I played the new map Zombie last month. As a newbie, it was a lot less scary than anticipated. I was expecting NPC to creep up behind our backs and harass us, but it never happened. Also, when we were stuck, the moderator constantly gave advice on the walkie-talkie. The only scary part is the solo activities and running in the dark. My advice for new players is to never block any doors, because you'll trap yourself when it's time to run away. Also, the more people the worse, because with 8 people we were tripping like dominoes during the chase.
