The place is old and they definitely have not replaced any of their air filters on their HVAC system. Case in point, the range gets very smokey and eventually becomes difficult to breathe. Would not recommend if you have any respiratory issues or wish to not breathe in lead.
Came in to zero my optic. Turns out, you aren’t allowed to use a bench rest here. Yeah, the same reaction you just had in your head is probably the same one I had. Definitely not renewing my membership here.

Having recently visited the range for the first time, I found it to be an excellent location for shooting. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, readily answering all of my inquiries. Securing a lane was a swift and straightforward process. Furthermore, the establishment is well-maintained and clean, with reasonable pricing.
Ammunition is So expensive it’s not funny. Said the ammo is more expensive because the owner purchased during Covid. He’s still trying to unload ammunition that he was trying to hoard. 🤦🏾♂️ This is price gouging at the highest degree. I paid $181 for 2 boxes of ammunition and an earplug. The lane wasn’t part of the charge. Then while walking out a staff member asked me if I paid. Avoid buying any ammo here. Maybe that’s why it’s so empty.
I took my mom and my niece here today. It was their first shooting experience. From beginning to end, we absolutely LOVED it! The staff was very friendly and very patient with us. We are already planning our return visit. Thank you so much, La Puente Firing Range, for making their first shooting experience a GREAT one!!! 💯🫡🤝
