I came into Pistol 101-B with light shooting experience and having taken a basic handgun class at my local range years ago. Before I attended, I thought $175 was kind of pricey, but let me tell you, this class was worth every penny. Tom filled in my knowledge gaps of gun handling and usage, and also taught what *not* to do, which can be as important as knowing what to do. It was extremely useful to learn the mental framework for shooting, no matter the size of the target or caliber of the gun. The one-on-one guided shooting practice at the end was invaluable, with both Tom and Robin. Not only did I get training and direct feedback, I also realized the potential of my abilities, which I plan to develop at my local range further. If you have some experience but want more comfort, confidence, and shooting technique, this is the perfect class for you!
I just want to personally thank Tom and Robin for holding professional classes, centered around safety at all times, but fun as well. My spouse and I felt very comfortable, and really really appreciate the safety fundamentals that are reinforced over and over again to help us develop safe practices, and improve our shooting. We took Pistol 101 and 102 and learned an incredible amount, and we're able to narrow down which pistols we felt were best for us being exposed to different models and brands. If you're looking for top tier instruction, in an inclusive environment, they are it. Look no further! Thank you both!

Me and my wife are very new to shooting and wanted to take a class to try to get some more experience from a professional outside of practicing at the range. Tom is THE BEST instructor I have ever seen. He is so passionate about making sure that everyone feels welcome and included, gives individual time to everyone, even in group classes. Gave AMAZING fundamentals and advice for improving our technique, and carefully explained in detail how these techniques will help us with our shooting. The 101B was a fantastic class and I will absolutely be taking more classes in the future. They are 100% worth the price and more.
The classes are welcoming, inclusive and serious about safety! I came in to Pistol 101 knowing almost nothing about firearms, three classes later I’m feeling far more confident and knowledgeable. Tom and his assistants have been amazing in helping me work around some issues I have with grip and hand strength. Looking forward to continuing the journey!
Tom and Robin were fantastic. They're not amateurs and have been shooting for years, and know their stuff. They emphasize the importance of safety and knowledge, providing an in-depth course on everything related to firearms. Even as a first timer, I managed to hit the target every time without fail. I hope to take future courses with them.
