We loved our Navy SEAL themed room! We beat it, but only at the last minute! There were some great challenges in the room, and overall Dalton, our guide, was amazing. He showed us a great time, and great customer service. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back to try another room!
Alex and Dalton were phenomenal! Wait a great time team building together. Flight 282 and Minetrap are just the right balance of fun and difficulty, we finished flight 282 with only 3 seconds left! First escape room experience was epic!

This was our first escape room as a family. We went while on vacation in Charlotte. Our kids range in age from 10-15. We did Flight 282 and it did not disappoint! It was challenging for my husband and I but not discouragingly so for our kids (we are a family that enjoys strategy games). Everyone was engaged in the game and our kids called it one of the highlights of our trip! Our only disappointment was that we were not in town longer to do another room. Our Game Master, Alex, was excellent! He set us up well for the game, explaining everything and taking time to answer all our questions (that could fairly be answered before we began!). When you arrive the building doesn’t clearly look like a place of public business (more like an industrial building). You park in the back and walk around to the front door. There are some great breweries on the same street too, so make a fun night of it! If we are back in town we will seriously consider coming again to do another room! Highly recommend.
We came to Escape Tactic for my son's birthday party. We did the Mine Trap room with Alex as our game master. It was so much fun and the kids had a blast! They're all younger teenagers (14-15). I also had fun, so it's great for adults too! The room setup was fun and creative and the lounge spaces outside of the rooms was comfortable. Alex was a great game master. I was happy that he gave us a warning that the room started out in the dark. We were good, but I appreciated that that could be difficult for some people. He gave us good direction during our puzzling without it being too early for hints. Everyone else was also super helpful and kind. We also used the party room, which had a nice Happy Birthday sign on the wall. So all we needed to bring was pizza, cake, drinks, and utensils. I also brought disposable table cloths for the tables, but they were perfectly clean if you don't even want to do that. The location near uptown is also really convenient and parking was good. We really enjoyed our experience!
We did the King Tut room and wow — they said it was the “easy” one, but it definitely kept us on our toes! My two friends and I needed way more clues than we expected, and we had an absolute blast the entire time. The puzzles were challenging but so clever, and the experience was super immersive. Shoutout to Donald, our host — he was fantastic! So friendly, patient, and accommodating. Highly recommend Escape Tactic if you’re looking for a fun and brain-teasing adventure with friends. We’ll definitely be back to try another room!
