My first ever escape room was at escape hotel. Unfortunately, they set the bar very high having now done several across the country, its hard to compare them to Escape Hotel. My team has completed over 5 rooms here. Every room has a very high production value and the staff is always in character and very polite.
My party of 3 recently went and did the Daycare room. The ambiance & staff of the whole building even outside of the escape room itself, were amazing. We escaped the room with 3 minutes to spare and had a blast. We enjoyed it so much we went to the escape room on 8th downtown another day and were disappointed in comparison (it’s not even close to being as great). If you have the hr to spare, I highly recommend going.

One of my favorite places of my last visit to LA. Food is amazing and the atmosphere is also the best. We had food while watching the shows and they are all amazing, the best part is that every show has interactions with the audience, everyone was having a blast! The rooms were absolutely amazing, the puzzles are challenging but fun at the same time. Staff is on the zone! Every single detail at the hotel makes it an out of the world experience even if you are there for drinks you won't regret visiting this place!
Hollywood boulevard is a bit of a spooky place to be but the Hollywood hotel is a fun safe relief! We had a great time in the haunted fair room. Stone (the guy who served us) made it fun and immersive from the second we walked in and the moment we walked out - the cherry on top of an excellent escape room! The whole place was dressed immaculately and the staff were all in character. The escape room itself we didn’t get through in time but had a great (and frightening) time regardless. Highly recommend a visit - best thing to do on the strip!
Parking is a little tough but that's to be expected of the area. The employees are really fun and really committed to their characters. The room puzzles were really fun as well. The only thing is that one of the rooms has a puzzle element that I had assumed was NOT part of the room as this is the case in other escape rooms. After that slight hiccup was solved we were able to get through the room fairly well but the puzzles still felt fairly challenging enough to be fun
