Escape from The Golden Hinde
Embark on a thrilling 60-minute escape game aboard the historic Golden Hinde, a reconstructed 16th-century galleon in the heart of London. This unique adventure blends history, puzzles, and ghostly tales, perfect for friends, families, and corporate teams. Experience an immersive challenge that encourages collaboration and problem-solving in an unforgettable setting. Ideal for those seeking a distinctive and engaging group activity.
Very well run escape room with great staff, was great fun and a chance to look around the golden Hinde, a replica old ship with some low ceilings.
Great time. For context, I have also done the second escape room "Secret Studio" so I am familiar with the set up. The actors were great and the setting was super unique as you are on an actual ship. I would say however that it feels more like a experience then a full on escape room. As there is much more interaction with actors and you are often checked on by staff. This makes sense as the ship is very tight ( think twice if you are 6ft!) and for safety for some of the puzzles you do need to be watched. This however doesn't diminish the fun so still 5/5

Absolutely brilliant 'escape room'. Our 2nd for the day...we did a traditional room and then the Hinde. Loved the Hinde for the younger kids (8-10 years old) because they had a person in each section that gave clues and led the kids where needed so I could step back and let them have fun. Being on the boat was amazing.
So much fun and so unexpected. Really cool to do an escape room on an old ship that has so much history. The hosts were so funny and friendly. It was a great was to spend 90 minutes in London. I mean, where else can you do an escape room on a ship surrounded by history nestled right next to a church that is over 200 years old?! Right next to the Borough Market. Made it really easy to find.
We took our band of miscreants hailing from theatre companies Odds and Sodds and Enigmatic Theatre to the Golden Hinde and had the most PIRATICAL time. We were split into teams, branded 'Odds' and 'Sodds' and sent into the depths of the ship to find Sir Francis Drake! All the ghosts we met on our travels were amazing, engaging and lovely souls who it was a pleasure to meet. With one crew having to wait above decks while the other group started, they were kept entertained with pirate games and shanties galore. Touring multiple time zones on our quests, it was such a brilliant experience and a fantastic evening. Our thanks to Willy, Steve, Drake and the Party Pirate! We hope the Hinde treats you well!
