I’ve been coming to the Garland Public Shooting range for well over 10 years and couldn’t be more pleased. While there is no FMJ (which you can’t really find an urban range that allows it) , the trade-off is a pistol, rifle 50/100 YD, and shotgun range that safety is priority number one. Beyond that the staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help clear any malfunctions, jams, or share a bit of advice. I don’t know of a better outdoor option in the area.
WONDERFUL RANGE! The folks here have operated this location for years and are very family oriented. Their clay shooting range is by far my favorite part. Safety is always a frequent reminder to all shooters and none shooters. I rate this place 5 stars. I highly recommend your give them a shot.
Good public range to sight in and shoot. I went on a Friday at opening and it wasn't busy at all. Shot rifle then pistol for a couple of hours. Well worth the initial $50. The cease fires every 20 minutes aren't intrusive and it gives your gear time to cool.
