My buddies & I were privileged to be part of the 1st Annual Vet’s Day Skeet Shoot. It was awesome! I haven’t been shooting in a long time and it was a nighttime time shoot, so I wasn’t expecting to do that great, but our range commander (Danny) was super helpful and made it lots of fun. I used one of the in-house shotguns and it was great quality. Danny helped me get reacquainted and offered tips to improve. That helped me do better than I hoped…and we definitely had tons of fun.
10/10 recommend The Porch!

The Porch Venue operates on a reservation-only basis. If The Porch Venue cancels an event, customers are eligible for a full refund or a rebooking for up to one year from the original reservation date. Customers cancelling at least 72 hours before their reservation can receive a full refund or rebook for another available night. However, cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund or rebooking.

my boyfriend and i went to celebrate his birthday and it was such a FUN experience with great instructors! they were all very personable, kind, and hyped us up LOL. they give you tips & teach you everything you need to know to be successful for the night. the rain made us miss out on the deck and axe throwing, but they still made sure we had a great night and got our $$ worth! genuinely impressed with this place, and will come back!! i didn’t feel concerned for my safety and didn’t feel that if i missed, i’d be made fun of. these people are some great folks!
The Porch Venue was great! While visiting our son in Texas we went with him and two friends. It was a great night with great shooting. Everyone was very supportive of all involved. John is a fellow New Jerseyan and we had a great time catching him up on the “little” town we are all close to. Plenty of games to play while waiting. As a female it was great to have support from everyone (posting on my husbands name) everyone cheered for all the clays hit and always reassured us that if we miss this one there are more coming. They were very informative and instructed us, during the whole event we felt very safe with all the instructions and safety protocols. I highly recommend going to the Porch Venue for a great night out. We went in October, I suggest a sweatshirt, I was lucky enough to borrow one later in the night because the temperature dipped. Be prepared. They also supplied complimentary snacks and beverages for purchase. Non alcoholic of course. They accept cash and cards but suggest bringing smaller bills for drinks just in case they don’t have change. There is a port-a potty on premise, btw it is the CLEANEST port-a potty I have ever been in.
I had such a great time at The Porch Shooting Range! From start to finish, the staff made the whole experience smooth, safe, and a lot of fun. The glow-in-the-dark skeet shooting was something totally different it felt like a mix between a shooting range and a nighttime event. Even if you’ve never shot before, the instructors are patient, professional, and really know how to make you feel comfortable. Everything you need is provided gun, ammo, and safety gear so you can just show up and enjoy. The atmosphere is upbeat and relaxed, and the extra touches like music, indoor games, and the porch setup make it feel more like a social outing than just a range. If you’re looking for a fun night out with friends or a unique date idea, this is definitely worth it. It’s not your typical range it’s an experience you’ll remember. I’ll definitely be back!
