The best in the coast! Check out this local owned Escape room just a couple minutes walk from the iconic Surfers Paradise sign! First time here but heard great reviews, so we decided to check it out. We did, and escaped the R18+ and Dark Dungeon room! And let us say, we are IMPRESSED! If you're looking for a fun, goofy, and raunchy night out, R18+ is for you! Whether it's your first time touching a *cough* special toy, or your 100th time, you will not be disappointed. If you're looking for something more scary and different, dark dungeon is for you! Set in complete pitch darkness, your only senses are your touch and hearing. Will your imagination get to you? It sure did for us! Let alone the plot twist at the end that really got us shaken and jumpy even after we had left the room! Next time we're in the Gold Coast, we'll definitely be back to take on the rest of the Lost Locks rooms!
Have now completed 2 rooms. First was super easy and not well maintained so the staff gave us a voucher unprompted as an apology. We returned at a separate time to use the voucher (with out of pocket costs) and did the Arcade Black room which was great. Have been to higher quality escape rooms of cheaper price (Brisbane) so cannot compare to Gold Coast quality. Was fun and I would return if other places were booked out.

My partner and I are travelling from interstate and were pleased to find a fun escape room business. I was really nervous about the complete dark room but Kayla was so kind and funny she was able to calm me down which led to my partner and I being able to “escape”. I recommend this establishment to anyone, rooms are fun, exciting and staff are just beautiful! Everyone was so lovely. Shout out Kayla!
Came here on a whim with high hopes of completing the most challenging escape room they had…. Turns out I’m not as good as I thought hahahaha Rahaf was welcoming and friendly, I think she offered us hints out of pity hahahaha but I’m sure the psychotic laughter of frustration was highly entertaining for her as the room was for us I would recommend coming here for a challenging experience, thanks team 😊
Wanted something fun to do with my partner while on holidays in the Gold Coast! We had never done an escape room before so we thought this would be a great opportunity! Our game master Alyssa was amazing, super fun and friendly! Highly recommend the R18+ escape room if you’re up for a bit of fun!
