How do I book an experience at Go Shooting?

You can book online through our website. Pre-booking is essential for most experiences, particularly for specific dates and times, though some locations offer walk-in shots on Sundays.

What are the age and experience requirements for participants?

Participants must be a minimum of 12 years old. No prior shooting experience or firearms license is required, as expert instructors provide full training and supervision for all skill levels.

What should I wear for my clay target shooting session?

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Singlets, camouflage gear, and thongs are strictly prohibited. Sunglasses, a hat, and any corrective lenses for distance are also recommended.

Is clay target shooting a safe activity?

Safety is our highest priority. All shooting takes place within un-inhibiting safety cages, and qualified instructors are responsible for all firearm loading and unloading. Essential safety equipment, including glasses and ear protection, is provided, and we maintain a perfect safety record.

Can I consume alcohol or drugs before or during the activity?

No, we enforce a strict zero blood alcohol and drug policy. Any suspicion of consumption will result in immediate disqualification from handling a firearm. Bar facilities are generally available only after the shooting activity has concluded.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations for private groups made 30 days prior receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations 7-14 days prior incur a 50% booking fee or loss of deposit. Within 1-7 days, 100% of the booking is forfeited. Rescheduling is permitted for groups outside of 10 days. Gift vouchers are non-refundable. Full refunds or rescheduling options are provided for COVID-related cancellations or if participants are unwell. In extreme weather, Go Shooting may cancel and offer alternative dates.

What happens if there's bad weather on the day of my booking?

Our outdoor activities proceed in most weather conditions. In cases of extreme rain or lightning deemed unsafe by Go Shooting, we may pause the activity or offer to reschedule your event. We encourage you to dress appropriately for the weather.

What a day! We had an incredible time. This was a new experience for most of our team and they absolutely loved it. Walked away raving about the whole experience. Debbie was so helpful and friendly right from the get go. On the day, she was thorough with her demonstration and explanation. We had a group of 17 and it still felt very personal. We all felt incredibly encouraged as they helped us every step of the way to succeed. It was really great to get out of the box and try something new and exhilarating.
