Is it safe to play paintball at your venue?

Yes, paintball is very safe at Mayhem. We are fully insured, have an impeccable safety record since 1987, provide thermal double-glazed goggles to prevent fogging, and maintain a high marshal-to-player ratio for constant supervision. Each playing area also has its own safe zone for breaks.

What is the minimum age requirement to play paintball?

Players must be at least 12 years old (or in Year 7 at school) to participate in paintball, adhering to industry standards and UK Paintball Sports Federation guidelines. For younger children, we highly recommend our Outdoor Laser Tag.

How far in advance should I book my session?

While we can often accommodate last-minute bookings due to our large capacity, we highly recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and avoid disappointment. For next-day bookings, please call us directly.

What is the required group size to play?

We can accommodate groups from 1 to 450 people. If you have fewer than 18 players, you'll be teamed up with other groups. For a guaranteed private match, you'll need a minimum of 18 players.

Is a deposit required when booking?

No, we require the full payment in advance. You have the option to pay a deposit initially and then settle the remaining balance closer to your event date, but all payments must be completed at least 7 days prior to your visit.

What clothing should I wear for a paintball session?

We suggest wearing comfortable layers, such as tracksuit bottoms or old jeans and a long-sleeved top. We provide camouflage overalls to wear over your clothes to keep them clean. Boots or old trainers with ankle support are ideal footwear.

What are the typical game scenarios like?

We offer a wide variety of missions, including traditional games like Capture the Flag and Attack and Defend, as well as Call of Duty-inspired scenarios like Search and Destroy and Domination. Each game typically lasts about 15-20 minutes.

Amazing site. Killhouse (CQB) is a great laugh and enjoyable especially if you love quick turn around games. It is fast paced and there are some great objective games that are played. You do have some time to sit about but to be honest you need it to catch your breath back and reload. The walk on days are also great you get to play loads of different maps. Honestly one of the best sites I go to. The Marshalls are lovely and are always up for a giggle. Please ignore the negative reviews and actually give it ago before judging. We have been going to this site for several months on a weekly basis and now feel part of the family. The Marshalls know our names and actually take time to chat to you. You are actually treated like a friend and respected unlike some sites where they just see you as a number. 100% an amazing site

Great place for some weekend fun! Mayhem Paintball and Airsoft is an awesome spot for both kids and adults. There’s plenty of parking, which makes getting in and out super easy. The place is always buzzing with lots of parties and group events on the weekends, giving it a really fun and lively atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make sure everyone has a good time while staying safe. It’s also a great place for kids – well organized, with options suitable for younger players too. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a fun, action-packed day!

Booking & Cancellation

Mayhem Events does not offer refunds for event fees if a participant cannot attend, if the event is unheld, or after participation has begun, regardless of individual circumstances. However, Mayhem may postpone bookings with at least 48 hours' notice. If Mayhem cannot host a booked event, it will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date. Payments for no-show players on the day of play are non-transferable.
