How would you describe an escape room experience?

An escape room is an activity where a group enters a themed room and must find clues and solve a series of interconnected puzzles to achieve an objective within a time limit, similar to a real-life game.

What is the ideal team size for an escape room?

Our rooms accommodate teams of two to six players. We suggest an optimum team size of four people, as more players generally make the game easier.

Are there any age restrictions for players, especially for children?

There is no specific lower age limit, but all children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children aged 7 and up can typically participate in easier tasks, while those around 12 years can complete larger aspects of the games.

What amenities are available at your location?

We have toilets and a waiting area for early arrivals. Drinking water can be provided upon request.

When should we arrive for our scheduled game?

Please arrive at your allotted start time. The entire visit, including briefing, game, and debrief, lasts about one and a half hours. Late arrivals may result in a shortened or canceled game without a refund.

Can I purchase gift vouchers for escape rooms?

Yes, gift vouchers are available through our booking site. You can buy them as monetary vouchers or as whole game vouchers for a specific number of players. Both types expire after one year.

Do you provide discounts for Blue Light cardholders or students?

We offer a Blue Light discount of Â£5 off bookings. Students can play the Blackmail room for Â£60 from Monday to Friday. Please check our offers page for current promotions.

My first escape room experience and I'm so glad I chose this one. Lee was such a lovely host and you could tell how passionate he is about what he does. The escape room itself was so detailed and had clearly been created with a lot of care. We decided on the Mystic Cabin and enjoyed it so much we'll be back to do the others as soon as we can. We just completed Labrynth and it is the best escape room we've done this far. The actual escape bit has a good mix of puzzles (felt like i was on the crystal maze) but the collectibles are what makes it. We didnt get them all in the time but were active for the full hour. The host was great too. Well worth a visit!

Booking & Cancellation

Cancellations require written notification. No refunds are issued for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled game time, including those made with gift vouchers. To reschedule, you must inform us in writing at least 24 hours in advance. While we will try to accommodate changes, rescheduling is not guaranteed and may result in cancellation without a refund if not possible.

Quality escape room experience for a family of four, warm, friendly and the perfect level of challenge. Our host Jai was welcoming and gave clear instructions. There was no pressure to get started straight away so we could relax after our journey into town. There are free lockers and coat hooks for you to put anything you don't want to take into the room. The reception area is comfortable, with games, puzzles and books to play while you're waiting. We played Blackmail as suggested in the website's FAQs as most suitable for younger players. It was the perfect level for us with loads of things to find and work out. The room itself was spacious and well lit and everything was in good condition. It was clear what was supposed to be moved and what wasn't. Thoroughly enjoyed by all!

My husband and I came for our first escape game on Saturday and it was such a good experience. I can’t remember the name of our games master but she had long brown hair and a fringe! She was brilliant!! Thanks for a great experience!

My daughter and I booked The Mystic's Cabin. We've both been to a few escape rooms before and this was just the right challenge level for us. Some were very clever. Lee provided enough help when we needed it and we got out with less than a minute to spare. The venue was nice and the room was well maintained (some I've been to have been quite tired looking). I loved the fact that this was an independent company and would definitely go again to try another room if I'm in Birmingham.
