How do I book a shooting package or course?

We don't currently offer online bookings for packages. Please call our office Monday to Friday (10 am-5 pm) at 905-957-7362 (Line 2 for non-members/packages, Line 1 for courses) or email office@silverdalegunclub.com (packages) or info@silverdalegunclub.com (courses). For packages, we recommend booking 1-2 weeks in advance.

What are the age requirements for participants?

While we recommend ages 12-17 for our 'Young Guns' package, children of all ages (under 18) are welcome to participate with parental consent and supervision. Government ID, like a birth certificate or passport, is required for all children.

What should I wear and bring for my visit?

Please bring a government-issued ID for everyone in your party. You should wear comfortable clothing and mandatory closed-toe shoes; open-toed shoes are not allowed. A light jacket and a ball cap are also recommended for added protection.

What is your cancellation policy for shooting packages?

To receive a full refund of your deposit, you must cancel or reschedule shooting packages at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Any changes to your booking must also be made 48 hours prior.

What is your cancellation policy for courses?

A full refund is issued if you cancel a course at least 7 days before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 7 days of the appointment will incur a $50 fee per course, and no-shows will not receive a refund. All online refunds are subject to a 3% processing fee.

Are guests allowed, and what are the rules for them?

Active members can bring two licensed guests or one licensed and one unlicensed guest per day. Limited members can bring one guest. Guests must be registered, pay a $20 day pass fee, and remain supervised within arm's reach of the member if unlicensed. Members are responsible for their guests' behavior and safety.

What safety measures are strictly enforced at the range?

Mandatory safety gear includes ear and eye protection, and closed-toe shoes. Loaded firearms must never be passed, left unattended, or handled on a green flag. Any firearm brought onto the property must be in a hard or soft case. There's a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe firearm handling or disruptive behavior.

Our latest team outing was SUPER fun! A lot of reservations at first because many of us had never before been to a shooting range. The instructors were knowledgeable and super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for an out of the box event for a team/ friend outing.

Booking & Cancellation

For shooting packages, cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for a deposit refund; less than 48 hours or no-shows result in deposit forfeiture. Course cancellations made at least 7 days in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days incur a $50 fee per course, and no-shows are non-refundable. Merchandise refunds are available within 24 hours of purchase, and defects must be reported within one week. All online refunds are subject to a 3% processing fee.

For visitors who choose from the shooting packages there is a dedicated spot on the range. This spot has two types of lanes. Regular for pistols, revolvers, rifles (22LR/5.56x45mm/7.62x39mm), and shotguns (slugs only). And a longer distance lane, complete with benches for scoped arms (5.56mm or .308 Winchester). The outdoor booths are very wide, making it easy to take pictures and videoes. All the different RSOs encountered have been friendly and considerate. Having visited a number of times, this range is able to handle the usual two people and larger groups (six from my experience).

Today was my first time at a shooting range, and Silverdale Gun Club made it a great one. I was a bit nervous going in as a new firearms owner, but Dan, the Range Officer, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. He answered all of my beginner questions with patience and professionalism. I made a couple of small mistakes, but Dan kindly corrected me and took the time to explain things clearly. It turned into a great learning experience, and I really appreciated his calm and respectful approach. The range was well-organized, safe, and welcoming. I’m really glad I chose Silverdale for my first visit, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend, especially for new shooters.

I had an incredible experience at the trap shooting range with my friends! We booked a private session and were able to shoot over 100 rounds, which was fantastic. From check-in to the gun handling tutorial, everything was seamless, professional, and welcoming. The range itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing an excellent environment whether you’re a beginner or an experienced shooter. The facilities are top-notch, and safety protocols were clearly prioritized, giving us peace of mind and confidence throughout our session. Special shout-out to Pat, who was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly supportive, patient, and helpful—not just supervising but also giving valuable tips that noticeably improved our shooting. His expertise and friendly manner made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this gun club!
