Very poor experience today. We went in a group of 6 with a kid who wanted to play easy games. I had informed in advance that he does not know how to change games and would need help; but my son kept calling with very little response from the staff. We wanted to play a game with max of 4 players and asked them to put us in 2 groups; when mistakenly one person created a third group and asked for help, the staff didn’t respond to help but to inform that there are 3 groups. One person had to play solo for no reason. Their response to seniors was appalling. I had 2 seniors in the group who were supposed to be in a multiplayer game, but since 3 groups got formed, seniors were struggling to proceed in the game and the support provided by the staff was delayed and little. There was a group of kids shouting right around where we were playing and the staff was not trying to even ask them to be speak softly, ruining our gaming experience as we could not hear each other in the game. We had great experience in the past at the same location but with a different staff. Today feels like a waste of money and time for all of us.
I was here tonight and had an amazing experience. Staff were kind and welcoming, even though it was late into their shifts. I was the only one there besides staff, so I can’t really speak on what a group experience or what checking in during busy hours is like, but it was great nonetheless. The games themselves are fun, especially as a sort of “trial run” into VR for someone who has never tried it before. It was nice to try something new and fun as a way to relax before the busy exam season. If I have the spare funds to come again, I probably will one day!

My 9 yr old son and I went here this evening. I had him booked in for two hours. I wasn't originally going to play because I'm very pregnant and know I couldn't stand for that long lol. But the attendants were so kind and accommodating! Set me up with a chair :') I'm so very thankful because I was then able to play for an hour! The headsets and controllers appeared(and felt) to be very clean as well as the rest of the place. There are a ton of games to choose from! To name a few, fruit ninja, Job simulator, Arizona sunshine(I think that's what it was called)- it's a zombie shooter game that you can play alone or with other players. My son and I had started with this game. We both struggled at first to figure out the controls but the attendants were quick to assist us with this as well ! My boy went on to explore other games and I spent my hour playing it lol, it was a ton of fun and thrilling! It wasn't packed with people which I thought was amazing since it was a Saturday at 820-1040pm but it was nice because I really don't like busy places lol. Upon arriving, you need to fill out a waiver if you didn't do so online. They then play a comical instructional video, have you look for the screen/station that has your name and you get started. (: The prices were totally reasonable considering the experience! We loved every minute and will for sure be going again very soon! I'd recommend this place to everyone!
We came from a far to try this VR Escapism. I am very pleased with the experience. We tried a medium VR escapism called sanctur. Nathaniel was very kind and helpful. Love his energy. He even gave us a back story of VR itself. Hope the guy gets a raise for the amazing experience he and the other staff provided. Definitely would try and come back again.
I celebrated a milestone birthday here with about 30 friends and kids. There are many good things to say about this place, so let's cover some of them: Location --- Conveniently situated in the heart of Waterloo with ample free parking. Reception --- The staff were amazing, attending to us promptly and respectfully. Value for Money --- Highly recommended, especially for groups. The larger the group, the better the experience. We booked the entire evening and had the party room to ourselves. My friends and I had a great time, moving around freely and enjoying the team games. We were allowed to bring our own food and, with a license, could serve alcohol. The birthday booking included access to a fridge for keeping drinks cold. I highly recommend this place for birthday parties or team events. The crew is attentive and welcoming. Go for it!
