We drove out here all the way from Clearwater & it was worth the drive for us! I wish I would have gotten the names of the two RSOs, the one who was inside the clubhouse he was very nice & especially RSO who was on the far right of the range, he was so friendly & super nice & helped my kids feel comfortable as well! :)
Our boys experienced their first introduction to a firearm & firearm safety & this place was the perfect spot to do so.
& having an archery rage within the same vicinity was the best & my husband was able to get his bow set.
We will be returning :)

In town for a few weeks at my in-laws (Lakewood Ranch) — booked a hog hunt while we were here and wanted to double check nothing got knocked off on my bow on the way here. This place and the staff have been nothing but awesome. Pricing for non-member guest are great too.
Range area has bags from 10-60, 3D side shots range from 20-55ish (also a bag at 70-72ish on that side too), AND they have a TAC style walking trail with 15 3D targets at varying ranges.
So pumped I found this place and I haven’t even bee on any of the gun ranges yet.

As a retired U.S. Marshals Service Special Operations Group Sniper, (USMS-SOG) and former Carlos Hathcock Instructor (1991-1995), I was ecstatic to see that Manatee Gun Club had a 1000 Yard Range, as impeccable as the facility was, and Wendy, so nice!!! squaring us away on arrival I was just as impressed with the Chief RSO’s John & Derek!!! These incredible individuals were not only extremely knowledgeable in MIL & MOA but their expertise, assistance was nothing less than amazing. I confirmed my zero on my rifle at 100 Yards, then proceeded out to 300, 600 & 1000 Yards to complete my 1000 Yard Qualification and John spotted for me the entire time, confirming DOPE & WIND with me. Again, this man was just as good as my Ballistic Computers (Kestrel 5700 Elite & Vortex Impact 4000)! Thank you ALL for an incredible professional experience. This is my now go to Range and yes I’ll be traveling there monthly from West Palm Beach!!! Well Done Sirs!!! 🙏💙👮♂️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I never thought I would be shooting guns, but my 12 year old son likes to, so here I am - shooting guns! The RSOs at MGAC have always been extremely helpful and respectful. I feel comfortable with the level of safety they provide at the entire range. They have given us great pointers in gun safety, how to better hold our guns, and how to rack the slides or pump the shotgun more efficiently - to name a few things. They don’t necessarily do full on training at the main line, but will guide you in tweaking things to help you become better. We love the archery range also! The 3D walking range was very well thought out. We participate in 4-H rifle and archery, and MGAC has been very generous and eager to work with our club. Shout out to Wendy in the clubhouse, Ken, Matthew, Xavier, (new) John (it was us second day today!), Bastion, and others who have made our time at the range enjoyable! *I hope I’m spelling names correctly!
I have traveled all over the USA and visited many gun and archery clubs throughout the years and this is my absolute favorite range. The range officers are second to none and always willing to extend a helping hand. They willingly share their knowledge and are happy to do it. The range itself is well organized and spotless. The grounds are well cared for and it’s easy to see that the membership is very proud of their facilities. If in the area I highly recommend this range for all your needs. From long distance target shooting to pistol shooting and archery this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed plus the range fees are very reasonable.
