Great place for a Riffle Range. Excellent use of land that fortunately can't be used for development.
Such a shame that most weekends the general public can't access the coastal walks due to the rifle range. Coastal views aren't aust for shooting ranges are they? Time for a new location guys?

Amazing range especially at the SSAA range area where it’s full of welcoming staff and friendly shooters that are willing to share their experience with you.A great friendly range for new shooters that want to learn more about long range shooting
Australia is well known for being a passionate sporting nation, and fortunate to be able to enjoy the freedom to participate and compete in whichever sport gives us most pleasure. The ANZAC rifle range is the most picturesque in the Southern Hemisphere, and draws shooting enthusiasts from all levels and disciplines. If you want to practice the fundamental skill of reading wind flags, this is the perfect range for you. The resident clubs, of which there are several, shoot on fixed targets at distances from 300m to 800m every Saturday except public holidays and during competition days. Lastly, the range is managed by well trained and skilled individuals who carry out their patrols and duties with cheerful assertiveness. Bring the deck chair so that when you want a break from shooting, you can sit back and enjoy the fantastic scenery.
A place where I can practice my sport (Fullbore Target Rifle). Extremely rare in Sydney and I'm grateful that isn't shut because of self entitlement.
