We were 7 friends and played soul catcher. Perfect for horror. There was a live actor too. Even tho you are prepared for not to get scared, you will not expect the timing and the things. Fun to play.
I tried a few escape rooms before, I would say this was the best experience as of now. Soul catcher was the first horror escape room I tried.
The use of lighting with the combination of incredible acting from the actor really created an atmosphere that I have not seen before.
The story kept me wondering what will happen next. My friends enjoyed it a lot and so did I.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a 50% deposit refund. For cancellations less than 48 hours prior, no deposit refund will be issued. No-shows also result in no deposit refund. Bookings are cancelled without refund if you are 30 minutes or more late. You can reschedule your booking twice for free with at least 24 hours notice; subsequent changes or changes within 24 hours incur a 50% deposit fee. Special considerations for COVID-19 are only made if a Sydney CBD lockdown is in place.

The Soul Catcher was my first horror escape room and it was honestly quite fun! Great atmosphere with friends, and the puzzles kept us on our toes. Live actors did a fantastic job, as did the staff. Would 100% recommend. I've done other escape rooms before, but this one was one of the best so far.
Tried Soul Catcher with a few friends and it was an amazing experience. It was my first time ever doing an escape room, and I couldn’t have chosen a better one than Soul Catcher. I was nervous at first because it’s a horror escape room, but the staff were super friendly and explained everything clearly before we started. Once inside, the atmosphere completely blew me away — the lighting, the sound, and the live actor made it feel like I was inside a real horror movie. The puzzles were challenging but really fun to solve, even for beginners like us. Every room had its own surprise, and the story kept us guessing right until the end. I didn’t expect to get so involved emotionally — one moment I was screaming, the next I was laughing with my friends. For anyone who’s never tried an escape room before, don’t be afraid to start with this one. It’s scary in the best possible way and totally unforgettable. Soul Catcher is easily one of the best horror escape rooms in Sydney, and now I can’t wait to try their other themes!
