We did both rooms back to back. Both were so unique and creative and among our favorites of all time. Thank you to our game master Joyce for giving us just the right nudges to keep us going in the right direction without giving anything away. Highly recommend this place. I'd even do these rooms again!
To start with the positives the escape room was clean and the puzzles were unique and challenging. However my experience there was not positive overall. Our escape room time started at 11 so we all met there at 11. The game master went over the rules, some of us had driven hours to be there and needed to use the restroom, we needed to put stuff in lockers etc so the game began a bit late. The game master didn’t mention that any of this was cutting into our time. Only once we started playing were we alerted there was only about 45 minutes left instead of an hour. The game master should have communicated this right away to us, I thought that our time began when we entered the room and so did everyone in our party. We only completed half of the escape room and they were very firm with making sure we left the room right on the dot even though there was no one else there. It was an expensive activity and not fun not being able to get closer to finishing it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this escape room experience.

Charlie and Joyce were my gamemasters! They did such a good job clarifying the rules and answering all of our questions! My group did the black and white cafe and it was wonderful! The puzzles were tough enough to feel accomplished when we solved them but we never got super stumped. 5/5 can't wait to come back to play the other rooms.
Had a staycation in San Diego over the weekend and we stopped by Mind Fox escape. Their black and white café room looked kid friendly and it definitely was. The kids love the theming. The room though had a decent amount of challenge. We ended up using about two hints but escape with 10 minutes to spare. The room makes great use of the space and there were a lot of clever mechanisms for their clues. I also liked that they had a screen that welcomed your group, which is a nice and fun touch. Charlie was our GM and she was great . Looking forward to returning with more reinforcements in the future to try their other room.
My friends and I tried the Sherlock Holmes room and had a really great time. Easily the most elaborate and well designed escape room we'd ever tried. Very challenging, but never frustrating, with great theming and props. The employees that we met, Joyce and Isabella, were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to test their ability to work well in a group.
