I’ve been going to this field ever since I’ve started to play airsoft. So I can safely say I know much about Hollywood Sports than the average Joe. To start off, the maps are pretty niche, they all have a somewhat different feel but majority are mainly 3-way maps aka maps that have three different routes to meet the enemy team left, right, or middle but are still fun. The only shitty part about the maps is since there is also paintball both paintball and airsoft share the majority of the fields. So, at times when walking onto maps or traversing other maps to get to others you might get hit with a paintball from a ongoing game that you walk past or simply get a bunch of paint all over since the maps have load of paint residue since they are shared with paintballers. However, Airsofters only have 2 dedicated fields that aren’t shared with paintballers. Being Combat Center and Cajun Terror that are sometimes combined if there is a lot of players. Refs is somewhat a hit or miss sometimes you get a good ref that knows how to keep the fun going or maintain a bunch of man children and sometimes you get a ref that is boring or doesn’t know how to handle himself. However, most of the time usually Refs are on their “A” game. The staff besides the refs I’ve experienced are always cool and chill and relaxed, they bring up conversations and make you feel welcomed and are always helpful. Now cheaters, I haven’t come across much or little to no cheaters while playing here. Mostly everybody is always cool and plays with Honor. Also, a lot of newbies most of the time which I prefer cause that usually means games are going to be more relaxed and casual. Also, like in any place you go there will be one in a 100 people a cheater or a little white blonde kid with a HPA M4 who thinks he’s the shit because his Mom bought him 2000$ worth of airsoft stuff, then proceeds to eat shit in the mud and complains nobody is calling their hits. Rentals - I can say the rentals for at least the firearms is “Eh” it seems the Park hasn’t renewed the rental gun inventory in a while so at times the rentals might malfunction or be not properly working. The staff are usually quick to assist but it’s still a hassle and which is why it can be upsetting especially to first comers. Final thing I want to say is the staffs speed into organizing a game. I don’t know why but I’ve noticed those mentioned that it takes forever for refs to organized or start the first game? I’ve never had the issue usually refs are pretty quick with starting the day and most of the time when the first game starts other players are not even ready yet. For renting a airsoft party package deal,or the rent a party deal where you get your own private games, I’ve never experienced it, never bought it, or never thought of getting it so I can’t put my opinion on it. Overall, this park is not bad and gets hate it does not deserved. This park is a simple, fun, and welcoming. Which is why I definitely recommend coming here. Yes it’s not perfect and there might be some issues here and there but it doesn’t deserved to be label as a “Do not go here”

There are a few things to keep in mind if you're visiting for the first time on a weekend. *You must use Hollywood Sports' yellow paint, outside paint is not allowed. *Your air tank must be up to date and not expired. *Be prepared to carry all your equipment from the parking lot to the tunnel unless you're okay with making multiple 500-foot trips. Patience is key! The park opens at 10 AM, but the first match usually doesn’t start until around 11 AM. Referees can be slow in organizing matches. As for the fields, they are mostly desert style—>small, compact, and decent overall. However, I wish they had a jungle themed field for more variety. On the plus side, the park is family friendly, and I would return, though it wouldn't be my top recommendation. If Hollywood Sports allowed players to bring their own paint in their color of choice, I’d definitely rate it 5 stars.

fun spot been going for years but the refs are young kids not trained to handle hostile clients or enforce basic rules. many sneak in alcohol and by days end there are many disputes. so today it happened to me. drunk guy was having issues with his Gun pulling trigger cocking gun pointing it towards the kids. I asked him to please watch where he was firing. guy threatened me several time refs heard. I notified this guy was intoxicated. let us play anyways. my luck I got him out. then he fired 10 rounds at me , threatened me again. ref saw. told them to report to management. nothing happened. they then walk in with a new cooler full of drink. I let management know. nothing happened. later on he and his friend have conflict with other customer threatening and almost full blown fist fight, ref can see everything nothing happens. I find another manager at end of day they say they will talk with his group. who knows if they did anything. for a family friendly place it’s pretty Wild West at times. games get cut short to address conflict. if anyone threatens another customer they should be removed from premises immediately. sucks kids had a bad day needless to say.

A fun place to play paintball. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patience. This place is huge to run around and practice tactical skills. Highly recommended for teen parties. Make sure to wear long pants and long sleeves clothes that you no longer need.
