All in all I thought that all of the instructors: Bill Rocky Joe did an AMAZING job at keeping 16hrs of training relevant, entertaining and informative. I think you guys did a great job with creating, emphasizing and maintaining a safe environment with extra emphasis on the safety and I appreciated the way that you each enforced any potential infraction to reiterate that safety on the range extends beyond a single qual or class day, which as a former RSO I know from experience can be difficult with new or less comfortable first time shooters I also thought the emphasis on mental health and pulling from student experience was a valuable section of the course. This course was recommended to me by a trusted friend and I would highly recommend it to others looking to get this skill
I just finished my CCW training and qualification with William Desy from CCW USA, and it was an awesome experience. The whole 8-hour class was held at a secluded outdoor range, which I really appreciated since I wasn’t looking forward to doing this at an indoor range. The outdoor setup made everything feel more relaxed while still being very safe and well run. William is a great instructor—clear, patient, and very focused on safety. He explains things in a way that makes sense and keeps the whole class comfortable. Big shoutout to Rocky, the range safety officer. Between him and William, they helped me fix my grip and finally stop pulling low and left. Their tips made an instant difference in my shooting. If you’re thinking about doing your CCW training, definitely go with William and CCW USA. I left the class more confident and shooting better than when I showed up.
Bill and his team are excellent and professional. Every time I’ve trained with them, they have gone out of their way to maximize the time we have to make me a better shooter and tactician. For CCW classes, they don’t just go through the motions. They spend time giving you personal instruction that will help you be responsible, safe, and confident. The instructors will help you break down your shooting skills and give practical advice for ways to become more accurate and efficient. Lastly, CCW USA classes are just fun. Great guys, great knowledge, fun hang.
