It was our first time coming here and my only regret was not knowing about this place earlier. As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted by Crunch, the “Range Safety Dog”. Crunch is Kevin’s (owner) dog and he is super friendly. The range makes you feel at home. Staff is extremely helpful, kind, and professional. We felt very safe here unlike some other ranges. There’s plenty of parking, the shooting range is clean and the prices are very reasonable. The staff went above and beyond to help with any questions (thanks Mauricio!) This is a great place for not only for experienced shooters but also for beginners. We used the 50 yard range which was awesome. The place is huge inside. Very clean and very well organized. Everything went really smooth. The registration process was quick and simple. Safety briefing was very professional, informational, and most importantly wasn’t rushed. The staff took time to answer any and all questions as well as introduce the beginner’s the gun safety and handling. I recommend you take advantage of their beginners special where you get to shoot with a pistol and AR or shotgun of your choice. This is my new favorite go to spot. Highly recommended! Easy access from Rt 3 and Turnpike.
My siblings and I took my father to the range for his 60th birthday! We had such a great time and felt safe here. On our way out we had the pleasure of meeting Kevin & Crunch.

I had high hopes that this range would become the place my partner and I visit regularly, especially since Josh has been excellent to work with and is clearly an asset to the team. Unfortunately, my experience with pricing has been extremely disappointing. The membership was advertised online at $600 per year, but when I went in person, I was told it would be $650. On a later visit, another employee quoted me $750 for the same membership. When I raised the issue and showed the ad from online, I was told that the business “doesn’t use the website nor updates it.” With all due respect, it is 2025 — this generation relies on websites for accurate information, and at the very least, a business should honor the prices it advertises online. On top of that, I felt overcharged during my range day. Paying $30 for 50 rounds of 9mm Blazer is unreasonable compared to industry standards. Between the inconsistent membership pricing, the dismissal of online information, and inflated costs, I left feeling misled and overcharged. It’s a shame, because I genuinely wanted this to be my go-to range, but these practices make it very difficult to trust the business.
Long Shot is a great place to practice shooting. They take safety seriously, but they are definitely beginner friendly. I have taken multiple family members and friends and always had a good time. The range is clean and well lid. I highly recommend the beginner pistol class if you are a newbie. The staff is knowledgeable and mostly approachable. The older RSO are specifically helpful.
Came to Long Shot Pistol and Rifle and let me say; this is the place to come if you’re a first time gun buyer or even just hitting the range. For starters, the staff were all attentive and knowledgeable. They showed me basically every handgun available and explained the pros and cons of each one which helped me to narrow down what was best for me. I was recommended to try 5 (handguns) that I leaned towards down the range and was even helped by one of the staff/safety officers. For the shooting range; you have to register, sign a waiver and watch a tutorial for safety in their classroom. They have safety officer in each bay as well. Lastly, the buying process as a beginner was thorough and smooth. They took my budget into consideration and there was absolutely 0 pressure into buying something out of my range (budget). I would 10/10 recommend this business to any of my friends, family or anybody reading this 🙌
