Two words: JUST. GO! Just Escape is the most fun our group of friends have had together in a long time. We LOVE escape rooms, so much so, that I got engaged in the middle of solving one (in Hawai'i). We've recently visited Just Escape twice in a 30 day span. The first, we did Slime Island for my husband's birthday, and the laughs we had was so enjoyable. We returned to celebrate another birthday, scheduled for the Illusionist, where the Game Master was very encouraging when we continously came close to solving a piece of the mystery. The rooms were well themed, decorated, and thought out, and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We are already planning our next visit. See you soon!
Decided to come here to try the illusionist room, which I think is medium level. For me it was hard but I’m thankful I was with friends who could help me. More needs to be done ensure that the cleanliness of the place is maintained. The waiting room was in great need of a good sweep. They were very prompt to get our group started, would be nice if they could let us do the waivers ahead of time. The gentlemen that brought us to our rooms was okay, but the lady who came out of the side room was rude, we had a couple extra people join (not apart of the reservation) which the website says is clearly okay, she didn’t greet us or anything just demanded payment. Then, she said she doesn’t accept Apple Pay wth. She needs an attitude readjustment. I was happy that the gentlemen took lots of pics for us at the end, we even changed signs and backgrounds, that was nice. Otherwise, the game was pretty fun and cool. We were thankful for all of the last minute hints. Not sure if I’d return, I’ve been to better and cheaper escape rooms in manhattan. I’d say this one is average.

This place is BEYOND AMAZING! From the owner Jaqueline personally making accommodations for our group, to Doug who did our escape room was truly amazing. His compassion and care was priceless. My daughter was scared to go into the massacre room and he went ABOVE and BEYOND to calm her and explain things to her. He then changed the room to help her feel more at ease. Checked on myself and the other parent waiting. Just really and truly a great employee. We will 100% be back. This level of “personal touch” is not taught, it is who he is. Every single employee should be emulating what Doug is doing. Truly amazing.
I went with a bigger group and we did the massapequa massacre. All of us had so much fun trying to run around the room looking for clues. It’s hard and will really make you think but it’s definitely doable and you can get pretty far. The staff was very nice and accommodating, they explained everything clearly and they were very helpful.
Great friendly service. Fun and challenging game room. We didn’t Candy Factory with two parent and 5 children, from 5 years old to 17 years old. It was a real treat and much more fun than I expected. The clue system is good enough to still make it challenging but takes the edge off. This place was clean and organized. I work as a teacher who assigns projects to my student to create escape rooms, so it is nice to see it’s done really well. We will be back again. Bravo!
