How do I book a session?

Pre-booking is essential for all sessions. You can book online through our website for events in Victoria and Queensland. For specific session dates and times, please inquire directly with us.

What is the pricing for the shooting packages?

The 'Discover' package starts at $125 per person, the 'Have a Go' package starts at $165 for children (12-17) and $189 for adults. Private packages begin at $155 per person, with scaled pricing available for larger groups.

What should I wear for the activity?

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Singlets, thongs (flip-flops), and camouflage clothing are strictly forbidden. We recommend bringing sunglasses and a hat. If you wear corrective lenses for distance, please bring them.

Are there any age restrictions, and is this activity suitable for all genders?

Participants must be a minimum of 12 years of age. There are no gender limitations; our activity is suitable for everyone. Minors under 12 are not permitted to handle firearms.

Do I need a firearms license to participate?

No firearms license is required, and no previous shooting experience is necessary. In some states, a temporary police firearms license form will need to be completed before the activity, which may require photo ID like a driver's license.

Is instruction provided during the session?

Yes, all sessions begin with a full firearm safety instruction briefing and a basic practical demonstration. Expert instructors, including Olympians and Commonwealth medallists, will provide one-on-one tuition to ensure you get the most out of your experience.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?

As an outdoor activity, sessions proceed in all weather. If there is pouring rain or lightning, we will take a break until the harsh weather passes. We encourage wearing weather-appropriate clothing to remain comfortable.

We had the best work party at Go Shooting starting by a serious induction then lots of laughs and hit many targets, well organised event and totally recommend to anyone. We finished with a 20 target competition and had a photo on the podium with the Gold medalist. Will definitely come back again.

Booking & Cancellation

Go Shooting's cancellation policy offers varying refund percentages based on notice period. For cancellations made 1-7 days prior to your experience, you will receive a 100% refund. If you cancel 7-14 days beforehand, a 50% refund will be issued, or private groups may lose their deposit. Private groups can receive a full deposit return if cancelling 30 days or more in advance. Rescheduling is permitted for groups outside of a 10-day window. Gift vouchers are non-refundable but hold unlimited validity. For events booked via management companies, their specific policies apply. The venue operates in all weather; cancellations due to weather are only accepted if Go Shooting deems conditions unsafe, offering rescheduling or credit. No refunds for breaching terms or fewer attendees than booked. COVID-related cancellations offer rescheduling, credit, or full refund, including on-the-day refunds for unwell participants.

I had my first Go Shooting experience on 27/09/2025 with Adam as the instructor. As a first-time handler of a live round, I felt a mix of nerves at the start, but Adam made the whole experience clear, relaxed, and enjoyable. He explained the rules in an easy-to-understand way, added some great humour, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. By the end of the session, I was having an amazing time and even came away with a silver medal! Highly recommend Go Shooting and especially Adam – I’m sure future players will enjoy it just as much as I did.

The best place to go for clay shooting. Our instructor for the day was Adam. He was the best at what he does and had the best humor. We booked as a group and all first timers. With Adam’s experience we all had an unforgettable experience. I think I probably take clay shooting as a hobby now. Trust me Adam will not disappoint you

Absolutely unreal experience at Go Shooting in Werribee! From the moment we stepped in, the vibe was welcoming and energetic. The instructors were legends – clear, funny, and made us feel confident with safety and technique. The rush of smashing that first clay… addictive. We’re already planning round two! Bonus: we caught some epic action shots and slow-mo videos of the clays exploding – definitely going up on my socials.
