The Vault was the perfect amount of difficulty for us (a group of adults on their first time at an escape room) and we had a great time. Highly recommend. Great clues, fun premise and helpful staff. Only issue for me was the music is too loud.
I went here for my first escape room experience. We did 'The forgotten Tomb' and I loved it. The guide Luke (If I remember correctly), was amazing. He's really enthusiastic, friendly and funny. He sets the scene perfectly for the room. Give him a raise 🙌
Breakout Manchester operates a strict no-refund policy for all cancellations. If you need to rearrange your booking, you must notify them in writing at least 7 days prior to your scheduled game date. While they will try to accommodate rescheduling requests, it is not guaranteed, and they reserve the right to cancel without a refund if rescheduling isn't possible. In cases of Covid-19 symptoms, if informed in advance, they will rearrange your booking for free. However, if symptoms appear on-site, you will be asked to leave and your booking will be forfeited. If Breakout Manchester initiates a major change or cancellation, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative booking time, with 7 days to make your choice.

Busy escape room, nicely built and well thought out puzzles! We attended as a family group of five people. Three of us have done many many escape rooms before. The room was atmospheric and well built. The only downside is the waiting room is busy so while youre waiting it's a bit of a conveyor belt. The puzzles are all well designed and flow nicely round the room. Plenty of scope for working in parallel. Enjoyed it and will be back.
I’ve played almost all of the breakout Manchester games. They are by far my favourite place to go for escape rooms, to the point where I need to force myself to pace finishing them all. I’ve played with a couple of games masters, everyone’s lovely. But no one has quite been as burdened by me than Phil. Phil is just my favourite. Although, every time I do come and Erin’s there, she feels like a friend ❤️. Begging big corporate Breakout to make more rooms and add a new site so I can spend more money please. Absolutely go to breakout. Here’s my ranking of rooms: 🏆 Underworld 🥈 forsaken 🥉 upside down Runner up: Unsolved Special mention: Frankenstein :( I miss Frankenstein. (I’m a trusted source, I work at another escape room and I refer people for free)
Amazing experience! We did the ancient Egypt themed room and got out just before the timer. The room was really nicely set up and the host was super helpful and informative. My second time here (also did the bank vault and that was super fun too), will definitely be back
