Bolton Gun Club R&P
Bolton Gun Club, established in 1966, offers diverse shooting facilities across three North West England locations. This private members club provides excellent clay pigeon, rifle, pistol, and indoor airgun ranges. Whether you're a novice taking your first shot or a seasoned enthusiast, you'll find a friendly community and opportunities for year-round competitions. It's a great spot for those looking to engage in shooting sports and develop their skills.
Excellent tuition from the instructor Andy , with a strong emphasis on gun safety, good facilities and good like minded people. The venue is quite remote and i imagine can be a bit of a pain in winter . A club run run by members for members.
Does not welcome new people and are very unfriendly. Don't waste your time trying to get hold of anybody, if you do they are extremely rude and unwelcoming. Often confused with Bolton Rifle and Pistol Club who are a world away from this club !!

Anyone know how to contact this club? Their site doesnt seem to have details and their email looks un-monitored. Is it even still open?
The club was great at first m, sadly ran by a total buffoon who was a total dictator and ended up kicking loads out. I didn’t agree with the way he treated loyal members. I’m not sure if the leadership has changed but they don’t reply to emails or messages about joining so seems little has changed. Save your time there are plenty of good and welcoming clubs in the area.
On the cold bleak moors it's a nice place to see the surroundings.
