Mo's House of Axe is a fantastic stop for brunch! The menu is eclectic and very reasonably priced. The service was fun and friendly. The food is OUTSTANDING!! Great portions and very delicious. I absolutely recommend the Shrimp and Grits and the Fry Bread donuts! The drink menu is fun, lots of great choices from signature mixed drinks to draft beer plus flights if you just can't choose one drink! The owner Mo even stopped by our table to welcome us and check in on the meal. Overall the experience was one I will absolutely return for and recommend highly. Reservations are suggested but not required. Can't wait to come back for Happy Hour and to try the axe throwing!
My family brought me here for my birthday. A little different than usual, but I had a BLAST! Our hostess was very knowledgeable and had us laughing throughout the entire time. Street parking can be tricky to find but when all else fails they do have valet parking for $16. The drinks were good and the food was tasty. The atmosphere is great for family, friends, or work events. I will be back with family and friends.

Great place however there is one important thing you should know. I would highly suggest eating before you come here. I think it was just a one off situation where like the head cook didn’t show up but the food here was a wild adventure. They didn’t have most of the items on the menu and the food we did order was a disaster respectfully. The burger was awful and not what it said on the menu. My 3 friends ordered sausage and macaroni and cheese and they brought out 3 sausage servings on one plate and the mac and cheese separate. They told us the Texas toast was out and then brought us just grilled cheese. It was such a bizarre food experience. I’ve been to quite a lot of restaurants and I’ve never experienced such an odd eating experience. At one point I started to think that they were just messing around with us. Also the kitchen is on the top floor which seems kind of odd because they would have to bring the food down from above. The wait staff also respectfully seemed highly disorganized. Not sure if they were just all new or something but it was weird.
This place is aesthetically beautiful inside! The decor/interior was well thought out with the wilderness theme. They have a full service bar, which I was actually surprised to see, since people are throwing axes, lol. A different axe place that I had heard of serves no alcohol. But anyways, people in my party ordered a couple of drinks and we had fun! It's a very comfortable atmosphere with music playing while you play, and song requests can be made as well! You have a coach who is assigned to you/your party the entire time you are there. They show you how to throw the axe correctly, and also play games, which makes it competitive and fun. We had a 1 hour slot for 5 people which was perfect for us. I highly recommend!
Fun times axe throwing in a hip yet rustic and upscale setting. You have an instructor with you during your entire time slot for throwing, which is pretty handy. Everyone there is super friendly and the drinks are great, plus there's a fun pop soundtrack at just the right volume to make it a party. It's a cool enough locale that we'll probably come back just for food and drinks. Amazing!
