BREAK ROOM LA - LA's Rage Room & Axe Throwing
Good fun for a large group. We did both the rage room and axe throwing. I'm not sure what the normal times are, but we had 30 minutes in the rage room and 45 minutes for axe throwing. That was plenty of time for a group of 9. We had 5 lanes for axe throwing and 99 pieces of ceramic dishes to break.
Went with a group of friends for my birthday on Saturday. This place is great. We did an hour of ax throwing and 20 minute break room. They have a tripod you can use to take photos or video with your phone and a bluetooth speaker so you can blast music in the break room. The staff makes sure you're fully informed to ax throw/smash stuff safely. They were all incredibly nice and accommodating. We were able to use a small area in the back for the cake. They checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. We left a large chunk of cake and thank you note for them. I'm definitely planning to go again. 10/10

I was looking forward to my visit, under the impression we were going to be able to smash tvs, kitchen items, furniture, etc but when we arrived it was literally mugs, bowls and plates. Apparently it's first come first served and there is extra charge for those mentioned items. Through their online booking, this information was not specified so it's definitely misleading. Paid $130 for 3 ppl, 20 min to break a few dishes, I could have done that at home for free. I like that they have a Bluetooth to connect your music and rage loudly in your room but I was hoping for more. First and last time for this location.
Three of my friends and I went to Break Room on Halloween to celebrate a birthday. It was exactly what we all needed. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. You get a set amount of “points” to use on items to break based on the package you purchase, and of course you can buy additional stuff to break if you want. Once we were all suited/gloves/masked up and had picked out of items, we were shown into our room, which had several tools to use (crowbars, bats, sledgehammer, etc) and the staff explained the rules/process. One nice touch was that each room has a Bluetooth speaker so you can connect and blast your own music as you destroy stuff. All in all it was a great time and a very cathartic experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who just needs to let off a little (or maybe a lot) of steam.
