How can I participate in a throwing session?

Our regular meetings in Pontefract are very informal, so you can simply come along and have a go. You don't need to be a member to join in.

What is the cost for a throwing session?

The cost for your first day, including tuition and equipment, is Â£15. Subsequent days are Â£10 each.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Upon arrival, you'll sign a disclaimer and receive an explanation of the safety rules. If needed, someone will teach you the basics of throwing knives, axes, and tomahawks.

Are there any age restrictions for participants?

Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the training sessions.

What safety measures are in place?

Safety is our main consideration. We do not promote unsafe throwing practices or impalement throwing. We only throw at inanimate targets, and alcohol is strictly prohibited during sessions.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No, we provide all necessary throwing knives, tomahawks, axes, and other equipment for your use.

Where is your main center of operations located?

Our main center is near Pontefract, conveniently located close to the intersection of the A1, M62, and M1 motorways.

Fantastic place. This was are 1st time at Katya we learn how to throw Axes, knives, tomahawks and more. I would definitely recommend and will be going back. John was very professional and the other instructors was the ball and happy to help nothing was to much trouble and very patient with us all. very friendly. Looking forward to going back.
