I keep going back to SGA because it is closest to my house and I train regularly. I’ve gone in twice in the last two weeks with questions about trading in a pistol and purchasing a new one, as well as an FFL transfer, and the customer service is appalling. I am rarely greeted (even walked passed an employee that wouldn’t even say “hello”) and when I do get someone to talk to, they seem very annoyed and even disengaged the conversation before answering all of my questions. I would really like to keep going in to SGA, so hopefully they put some time and energy into properly training their staff in customer service. I feel dread when I consider going into the store on Spring Cypress.
Been going here for about a decade at this point, whether it be to use the shooting range, ask the staff very particular questions I have (I'm really into guns and can get really specific), or just taking a look at any of their guns that catch my eye since they almost always have new stuff coming in. The staff are kind, courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. Whenever I come in, they ask how I'm doing and that if I need help with anything, just to ask. They also take safety very seriously, which cannot be understated. TLDR: I love this place, the facilities are well kept, amazing staff, great service.

Great place to stop on by and say hi. Always changing inventory. You never know what ya might find. Small indoor range for pistol and rifles, separately. If you go before 2pm on certain days you can also enjoy matinee prices. They also offer a wide array of services to customize your favorite piece or pieces.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I wish I knew names, but we have been helped by several of the staff and they are all great. When I ask questions, they don't talk down to me at all. They are very patient and explain anything I don't understand. Indoor ranges are nice. I've been to the one in the main building and the one in the building further back. If you go take a class and go to the back building, dress warm. It was 95° outside and about 60° in the building. It was great. They have a pretty good selection of rentals to try while you're looking for your next purchase. Highly recommend this place.
Brandon Campbell with his extensive knowledge and expertise guided me ( a newbie) to someone who can shoot with confidence. He was tough, compassionate, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I can tell he loves what he does. I recommend him for any new gun owner.
