What a fabulous time we all had!!! We did this for a Team Building excursion, and it was that and more! It was pretty difficult, but it was so much fun trying to save our astronauts. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back to do their game show events as well. If you are looking for fun or a team building exercise that includes all, I would highly recommend this place. The staff was absolutely great, and parking was very easy as well.
We had a full group of 6 and played the murder mystery game. Half of the props didn't work or had malfunctions. One prop that was to remain locked until we completed certain steps was already open at the start of the game and it caused confusion. In other games we have played, doors and chests will pop open after completing puzzle steps. None of the props here did any of that. After completing a puzzle there wasn't any clear indication of the next thing to do. There was a point where the game master actually had to walk into our game and physically hand us a clue because a chest wouldn't pop open. There was another instance where the game master told us to pry open a small door so it could open. I assume it was malfunctioning as well. There was another puzzle that involved changing the lighting in the room to find answers but it seemed like the lights weren't set up properly or had been slightly changed. This created A Lot of confusion and wasted time Overall we all still had a good time and enjoyed some of the puzzles. However for the price we paid, I cannot recommend the murder mystery room. I may be willing to give it another chance and try a different room but I think we would more than likely go to a different venue

Escape Hunt Houston has a strict no-refund policy for all purchases. If you are unable to make your scheduled booking, you may be offered the option to reschedule or receive store credit, valid for one year from the original booking date. However, bookings can only be moved a maximum of two times. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for late arrivals. Refunds are only issued in rare cases where the venue is forced to close, such as due to a power outage. Payments made via PayPal are final and are only eligible for store credit or rescheduling.

Had a great time here, ended up escaping thanks to the help from our game master. Kai was super sweet and very friendly! Her patience and friendliness made the experience much better! I also love that you’re able to book with just two people, some escape rooms make you join a random group.
Our game master, Celeste, was absolutely amazing from the moment we met her in the lobby up til us successfully escaping our room and leaving with a lot of happiness having just gotten to flex our deductive reasoning skills to the test as a family and having fun! She was excellent at gauging when it was appropriate to let us move closer and closer to the next step and when we needed a hint to give us the confidence to keep working together towards whatever puzzle it is we were facing to keep moving forward in our investigation, having done the “Murder at the Mansion” room. We had such a good time and we genuinely look forward to coming back and trying other rooms with more of our loved ones knowing that people like Celeste, and Celeste herself, make these special moments a breeze with their special attention and care for our experience.
We had a blast. Didn’t Houston we don’t have a problem room last night and our director was fabulous. She really was helpful and even gave us a few extra minutes to finish being thst there were only five of us. I can’t remember her name but wanted to mention her here. She made the experience great for us. First time escape room for me and we will be back. Loved it
