If you’re in the Dallas area and looking for something totally out-of-the-ordinary, go check out Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience at Grapevine Mills. We spent about 40 minutes exploring 12 themed rooms, from a massive bubble-ball-pit “bath” to infinity mirrors, VR-stations, and hanging balloon installations, and it was playful, awe-inspiring, and great fun for all ages. My 4 yr old seemed to enjoy it. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, they offer many photo-ops that are next-level, and the whole place is designed to let your inner kid roam free. Pro tip: go on a weekday or early in the day to beat the crowds, wear socks (mandatory in some zones!), and if someone in your group has a latex allergy, ask ahead about specific rooms. Whether you’re coming with family or on a date or just by yourself to let loose, this is one of those experiences you’ll remember.
I would definitely purchase tickets online before arriving. I got us the VIP tickets and am glad I did b/c the VR experience was the most worthwhile part. My son is 10 and said it was ok but wouldn't want to return. I think younger kids would really enjoy it. I love that its across from Rainforest Cafe.
We got invited to visit bubble planet and when I say my 4 year old had the time of his life!!!! We had so much fun! Every room worked perfectly, the staff was soooooo helpful and welcoming, we grabbed so many cute pictures and videos, grab a few items from their shop and over all we just had a fantastic time! A MUST VISIT! IF YOU ARE IN THE DFW AREA! A must
