I don't usually leave reviews, but after my recent experience at the new Spec Ops Gel Blasting / Paintball spot in Ipswich, I felt absolutely compelled to share.
This place is a gem, and they truly deserve all the praise!
From the moment you arrive, the team is incredibly welcoming—kind, generous and easy-going all at once. Their refs are always fair, helpful, and make sure everyone has a great time without any drama. The field itself is top-notch, as good as they get, with constant updates and changes to keep things fresh and exciting. They're clearly passionate about improving and striving to be the best.
A few weeks ago, I showed up at 9 AM for a session, got out of my car, and realized I'd forgotten my shoes—like a total idiot!
I headed inside, figuring I'd wait for the local shops to open, buy a pair, and just sit out the first round. But when Francis, the owner, noticed me hanging around and heard what happened, he didn't hesitate. He literally offered me the shoes off his own feet, saying he had some boots out back he could switch to. I was completely blown away by this act of kindness—it turned what could have been a frustrating start into an unforgettable day of fun.
If you're into gel blasting or paintball, you couldn't possibly recommend this place any more highly. Spec Ops in Ipswich is the real deal—go check it out!

Booking & Cancellation
To cancel or reschedule your booking at Spec Ops Paintball, a minimum of 72 hours' notice is required for a full refund. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 72 hours' notice, or due to unmet age/supervision requirements, are non-refundable. Rescheduling is permitted once per booking and must be completed within 12 months of the original date. Exceptions for full refunds or rescheduling apply in cases of government-mandated closures, operational interruptions, or severe weather warnings. For illness, a medical certificate is needed for consideration. Gift vouchers are non-refundable but transferable and valid for 3 years.

If you're looking for a place from taking the kids to having a bucks party or just a casual skirmish game! Then this place is for you! Great set up and Francis does a great job of explaining everything from safety to all the different game modes you'll be playing. We had an awesome time and I'm sure we'll be back and telling others about it.
Francis and Anders were flawlessly professional and accommodating for my daughter's 16th birthday party. Every child had an amazing experience and the facilities were on point. Each game differed which kept each person engaged and eager to keep motivated. Highly recommended for any party. Can't wait to go again, even playing myself for the first time.
