You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to two weeks before your scheduled date. Please note that we do not issue monetary refunds for cancellations; instead, a credit will be applied to your account, which must be used within six months. To reschedule or address any booking issues, please contact support@corevr.co.uk.

What happens if I arrive late for my session?

We operate on a strict schedule, so it's essential to arrive on time. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for setup. If you're late for a split session where setup has already begun, you might not be able to join. For private groups, your game time may be cut short if you wait for late arrivals.

Are there any age restrictions to play your VR games and escape rooms?

Players must be 13 years or older to play. For individuals aged 10-13, a parent or guardian must be present during the session due to game content. Those aged 14-17 do not require supervision but need a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.

What should I know about safety and health considerations before playing?

You must read and accept our waiver before playing, and safety rules will be reviewed during setup. Guests found breaking rules will be removed without a refund. VR can cause motion sickness; if experienced, you may need to stop without a refund. Certain medical conditions, like heart issues, epilepsy, or pregnancy, may prevent participation for safety reasons.

Can I wear glasses while playing, or do you have other recommendations?

Glasses cannot be comfortably worn with our VR equipment. We strongly recommend wearing contact lenses instead to ensure the best and most comfortable experience during gameplay.

What is your policy regarding vouchers and promotional codes?

Vouchers are redeemed online, valid for a limited time, and cannot be extended, refunded, or traded for cash. They are single-use and subject to standard session rates. Promotional codes are also single-use for selected games, applied during booking, and cannot be combined with other offers. Violating terms or cancelling a booking made with a promo code will result in its loss without a refund.

Core VR allows cancellations or rescheduling up to two weeks before your booking date. No refunds are issued for cancellations; instead, the value is credited to the purchaser's account, valid for six months. No refunds are given for vouchers, late arrivals, violation of safety rules, or if you experience motion sickness and cannot continue playing. Refunds may be considered at the discretion of Core VR Limited for specific issues. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be traded for cash. Me and my friends love escape rooms and have done all across Derby, we still wanted to do these and VR was perfect we went not expecting much but wow it was out of this world we did the house of fear souls version and it was so good we made a record time at 32:40, the host was amazing and then let us play their new game (supertag I think) and once again we were blown away. This place is incredible both the games and the host the fact they let us have another game was so kind of them and 5 star service. We will be returning to play more games!

I went here yesterday with my wife and adult daughter. Helen and I have done quite a few escape rooms but never a VR one. We did their Christmas game. I was gobsmacked by the marvelous environment VR can provide, so different from a physical one. I have Parkinson's - no tremors but have to use a stick, so they have me a chair. The two brothers who run the place were extremely helpful. Hopefully we will return soon to do it again it was so much fun! If you like escape rooms,. don't miss this one!

Highly recommend! We had so much fun we didn’t realise where the time flew. We loved it, definitely gonna visit again and explore other games. The staff were amazing and very kind to help pick the right game for us. We played Corpus Apocalypse and we were thrilled with the experience. Kudos to the team !
